*Sapphire POV
I try to calm my hands as they shake and my heart beat begins to race, all eyes staring at me with wonder, confusion, sadness and vacant expression but there is one man staring at me with a lot of emotions his eyes looking fixedly into mine... What the hell
I told Trent that I can handle this but i think i shouldn't have said anything as everyone is getting agitated i clear my throat to speak i know Trent told them already but i'll say it again so it sinks in
"My name is Sapphire Midnight i'm the only daughter of Alpha Ryan and Luna Erin of the Midnight Crescent pack from what i have been told - is that when i was two years old my Uncle tried to kill everyone only thing he didn't know was my dad made the Beta couple run away with me to get me to safety"...
I pause as i take a breath
"they managed to get me to a human couple that asked no questions and ran as far as they could, they raised me as their own - at 14 i met up with Trent and the Beta female his mom Sara"
Someone in the back gasped but i couldn't see who it was nor did they speak up again
I carried on with tears threatening to fall Trent grabs my hand and I hear a growl but when i look up i don't know where it came from but that guy is still glaring into my eyes.... what is his problem i started to get nervous as i started to feel that maybe he was part of a group my uncle sent.... everyone still with mixed emotions from what i am saying
"when i turned 16 my uncle sent his wolves and they murdered my best friends parents in front of us then they murdered my human dad and killed my best friend and her mate" i broke i couldn't hold my tears in anymore i finally caved in i was a mess everyone deciding whether i'm telling the truth or not but that is the choice they need to make i stood up straight, wiped my tears and carried on
"I lost 5 people closest to me that night...... I almost died i was shot and rescued then someone attempted to kill me again a few days later while i was healing, i received a box from my human mom Linda with my father and mothers name engraved on it, i opened it and found a letter from them and a ring from my mom also a list of Alpha's that owed my dad a favour that is why i gathered you all here to ask for your help, that night i shifted for the first time i was a force shift later that night Trent marked me and we felt a shift in the balance"
Then another growl came I looked up at everyone it was confirmed with the look on their faces they felt it to......
"after we had the enemy infiltrated us we went into hiding we had to move again since then i have 75 other wolves that have offered their help, within them are 5 Alpha's and some rouges we saved" everyone started growling
I looked up at everyone and they all looked like they wanted to say something but all paused when the man that held my gaze stepped forward, half way he stopped and knelled down on one knee everyone started to look around at each other but never followed his action.... Wow tough crowd as i took a step forward, the man on one knee spoke up
"I'm Alpha Roland and your father saved my father so i can only repay a favour of helping his daughter in her time of need you have me and my pack, we will help you"
before i could say anything everyone was saying things together i couldn't hear anything besides
"she died, its not her"
"this is outrageous how can you believe someone by word"
"those things don't prove jack she could of stolen them"
"i want proof"
"He wouldn't betray that family he loved them"
"it was a rogue attack"
on the last whispers i heard i took a step back moving directly into Trent's chest he wrapped his arms around my waist the man i know as Alpha Roland growled at this and i got even more confused, why is he acting like this?
A older lady came forward "if i may miss" i nodded "miss if what you are telling us is true then i need you to do something" i felt Trent tense behind me as he pulled me closer into him i was beyond confused now what more can i possibly do to give them proof and why is Trent acting like this, it seemed that she caught onto my confused state and spoke once again "Miss my name is Elmarie and if this what you claim is true i will confirm it"
"But how" was all i could say everyone also wanted to know as they tilted their heads towards her listening intently
"I watched that baby from the day she was born till the day Ross attacked that night, it wasn't rogues as to what everyone has been told"
They gasp she looks around again then meets my eyes then it fell onto Trent
"Beta Sara grabbed her and ran she told me to hide so i did but after the attack everyone was dead i couldn't find the Alpha or Luna then men came back rocking the bodies laying on the floor to make sure they where dead and all i could do was run there was no one i could help i became a rogue and found refuge at Alpha Ray's pack he took me in" she said as the tears poured out her glassy eyes i felt the pain in her words as she spoke them
I pulled out of Trent's arms and I embraced her into a hug I look up at Trent and he was standing there in shock as he remembers the lady before him I clear my throat and he shakes his head looking at me then steps forward and hugs us both, it felt reassuring, safe, loved and protected.
"How can i prove that i am who i say i am if i have given everything i already have" i said she pulled back and smiled at me
"All you have to do is........" she pauses looks around then back to me leaning forward to whisper into my ear
