The Waning Moon Of Pain

Looking out the window watching the trees of her family's pack, Blue Moon lands pass by Diana, she sat in silence in the car with her father, the former alpha of her pack, Alpha Jack Manson. Her brother Alpha Freki is now in charge of their pack alongside his mate and Luna Amber. They are just a small simple pack of a population of 300 wolves, but with her brother now in charge, they are stronger than ever with them having an Alpha and a Luna once again. They lost their mother to a rogue attack when Diana was only 8 years old. At such a young age Diana showed her people how strong she really was. With her mother gone, she stepped up to help her father the best she could to get through his loss of his mate. Comforting him whenever he was at his limit, her and her brother helped their father keep the pack going together as a family. Diana is twenty two now and at such a young age, she has already experienced the worst thing that could happen to a wolf. At the age of 16 she became an early shifter from her mate turning 18 and finding her before she was of age. It happened to be a close childhood friend she always had a deep crush on since she was little, also her brother's best friend Darius Moore. They were head over heels for each other, they completed the mating process right away and planned to be married when she turned twenty one, but things didn't go as they planned. A year ago, their pack was once again attacked by rogues. Darius ended up losing his life in that battle, protecting his dear mate and love of his life Diana. Diana was never the same after that, her father stepped down letting her brother take over sooner than planned so he could focus on helping his daughter, just like she helped him when they lost her mother. He spent the whole year at her side to help keep her strength up and never leave her alone. Her brother handled the pack just fine on his own from being well trained and prepared by his father. Six months after being given the position, he finds his Luna and peace was soon returned to their pack, but for Diana she still relived the horrors of her loss everyday being in the pack. Her father suggested taking her to the Twin Moon pack. The largest pack in the United States. He is good friends with one of the former Alpha's of the pack, Alpha Maximus Johnson. The Twin Moon pack is so large that they started to get too large for one Alpha and Luna to handle on there own. Ancestors of the Johnson family, had twin brothers. They made an agreement to both run the pack together and for five generations, the Twin Moon pack has had two alphas, two luna's, and two betas taking care of now 3000 wolves under them. Going to the Twin Moon pack with Diana, Alpha Jack is hoping a slightly similar place that she used to visit a couple times with him as a little girl will help her. Seeing some old friends, the Alpha that now watches over the pack, Ulric Johnson, the son of the other former Alpha's, Alpha Odin Johnson. with the pack being so large and having no memories there to remind her of Darius, he hopes it will help her find peace and settle down, finding a new purpose in life again. Alpha Maximus had a son as well, Isaac, that was supposed to run the pack with Ulric, but the Twin Moon pack had a tragic moment around the same time last year Diana lost her mate. When Isaac was fifteen years old, he was diagnosed with cancer. For five years Isaac fought the cancer with his family's support, but he lost the battle and passed away a year ago. Ulric now runs the largest pack on his own, with his Luna, Freya that he was lucky to have found right after his first shift. Ulric gets help once in a while from the former Alpha's, but he has two betas as well. He took his brother Isaacs beta under his command in respect and could use the help. Little did Diana know that the moon goddess has already found a new path for her to take, that she will soon learn once she arrives at the Twin Moon pack. It will just be up to her to find the strength to accept her new fate.
