When I landed safely on my feet on the ground, agad akong tumalikod to look at the girl who's with me. Ruri.
But what shock me was, how beautiful she landed on the lake. Just like a butterfly or maybe, she's really a butterfly. With those big kimono robe on her, spreading like a wings, with those beautiful countenance, and the way she landed on the pink lotus without a tiny ripples in the water causes my eyes to darken.
Now I see, she's really beautiful indeed.
She's just like a butterfly spreading her wings to take a fly from her flower.
And that butterfly, was coming towards me.

Oh. She jumped from the lotus and with our body tampered into the best, she looks like she's flying towards me.
"There." Ani niya ng makarating sa harap ko.
She looks up but I don't know why she suddenly stiffen when our gazes met.
"U-uhm..."
I blink at her as she stuttered to talk.
Kanina pa siya ganyan ah. Anong problema nito?
"Hmm?" I just hum as a sign to let her continue.
"Uh-uhm...go..l-let's..."
Halos di ko na maintindihan sinabi niya dahil sa pagka-utal.

"Let's go?" I ask.
She nodded shyly and shook her head.

I heard her sigh na naging rason ng pagtaas ko ng kilay. Why does she look so gloomy?
"Let's go! Let's find a place to stay." She smiled at me.
Once again, I blink at her sudden change of attitude.
'Shet~muntik pa akong mapahiya sa harapan niya~ bat ba kasi napakagwapo mo'
"Did you say something?" I ask while walking inside the forest.
I heard her mumble some words pero napakahina. Even with our acute senses, I can't hear her. I wonder why.
"Oo. Ang gwapo mo." She answered with a straight face.
"Thanks."
She suddenly stop as she look at me with wide eyes.
"Narinig mo?" gulat niyang tanong.
"You said that yourself." kalma kong sagot.
"Ay tanga!" sampal niya pa sa ulo matapos sabihin iyon.
I look back at her na nakasunod sakin maglakad ng may marealize.
"You find me handsome?" I ask the obvious. Halata naman kasi sa reaction niya.
Nanlaki ang mata niya at namula saka tumikhim at tinitigan mata ko.
"Yes, you're indeed handsome." She smiled when she answers me.
"You're quite beautiful yourself." I turn back walking matapos sabihin iyon.
