Chapter 25I was surprised to see Rachel Ann and Ides sitting on my buckboard’s seat when I emerged through the train station door. I’d planned on renting a horse, figuring the stable people here knew me and wouldn’t climb on their high horse and refuse my money. Consequently, I hadn’t sent a message about my early return home.
