A very frustrated Ted paced from one wall to the other and back. He held a phone to his ear and waited for the call to connect, but again the call cut after the voice automated operator yet again informed him that the number was not available.
He lowered the phone and glared at it as though it was the phone itself that personally offended him.
He was trying to get a hold of Philip Montero but the man’s phone was not going through. The last time he spoke to the man, Philip had been demanding fulfillment of their deal.
Despite Ted refusing to go through with the deal due to the simple fact that Lorenzo was still alive, the man had shown initiative and had managed to get Lorenzo killed without any further prompting from him.
