The lawyer walked into the penthouse. Like most people of the same career, he was dressed in an expensive black suit and very polished shoes. The man looked ready to talk with a lot of legal jargons and charge a very healthy bill. Ted watched him as he looked around with unmasked admiration.  “You are really enjoying life now,” he commented and ran a hand over an expensive looking piece of furniture in the hallway. It was just a table, but it looked like the kind of table that cost the same as other people’s monthly salary if not a year’s worth.  It was really beautiful, and Ted could understand the man admiring it.
