JACK : I am sorry dad I should have stopped uncle from talking to you on all this … I did hurt you so much I am sorry for that ( said in low tone )
He ( rubbing his back and kissed his head ) : No son you didn’t hurt me at all … You can never hurt me okay ? remember that ….
JACK ( sitting on his feet and resting his knees on the green grass grabbed his father’s hands in his both hands ): Dad you can trust me … please …
He ( tightened his grip on his hands ) : I trust you fully my dear , why are you telling like this ?
JACK : ( looking towards him having pain on his face ) Then why don’t you tell me all the things which are you hiding since my childhood ? ( placing his head on his father’s legs ) why don’t you share your pain with me ? I share all my things thoughts and many other then why don’t you ?
He ( bowing and kissed on his son’s forehead ) Dear there is nothing like that … ( taking a sigh ) its just related to my past which have deep wound due to my mistakes and some due to the situation … ( while rubbing his free hand on his face in a sad smile ) you want na that by repeating everything to you I don’t get hurt again and go through all that again ?
JACK ( looking towards him ) : No dad I don’t want that … I just want you to get out of the pain which I am seeing inside you since my childhood ( in confident tone ) and I have strong belief that my dad will never do any wrong things … I am really proud to have a dad like you and really want to be like you …
He ( cupping his son’s face ) : I am also proud of you my son … ( kissing his forehead ) you have given me a reason to live my life son … I love you a lot …
JACK ( smiled and hugged him ) : Love you too dad … love you a lot …
He patted his back and said : I think that now we should go inside … its getting dark here …
Jack nodded and stood up grabbing all the files and the coffee mug and moved inside the home with his father …
JACK : Dad you sit I will set the table and lets have dinner … after dinner you have to take your medicines …
He nodded and Jack left from there while grabbing the coffee mug and after placing the files on the stand … His dad went towards the stand and took a file from it
JACK : ( in strict tone ) Dad its 8:30 at night so your permission to do office work at home is over … you remember ?
He ( sighed heavily ) : As you say sir …
JACK : ( smiles ) Good , so now you should now take rest until your talented son joins you …
He : ( turning towards him with fake shock expression on his face ) I think that I have only one son dear … so to whom you named INTELLIGENT ?
JACK : ( angrily ) Hahaha very funny … are you going now to take some rest or we going to a restaurant ?
He : ( with irritated expression ) I don’t think I need to rest now as I am fine and not tired
JACK : ( threatening him ) Dad see if you don’t listen to me or I will invite Miss Smith on dinner and will myself leave to see Yash …
He : Okay fine I surrender … now just don’t take name of that lady again … ooh my goodness I feel really pity on Miss Smith …
JACK : ( smilingly ) But I can see you still standing here dad
He : ( shooting an angry glance at his son ) I am waiting for you in the lounge … come soon
JACK : ( smiling ) OK Boss …
He towards him in shock and really looked at his son for a few minutes … who , till then got busy inside the kitchen … he jerked his head and silently moved to the lawn … where after some time Jack also joined there and they both took their dinner in light chit chat while watching TV … Jack after getting free from kitchen gave him the medicines and after taking them they both moved towards their room to sleep …
At night he came out to check Jack … as he usually went in sleep while studying so it’s a habit of his to check once or twice at night …
He entered and saw him lying on the bed and lots of chart and book present around him on his bed …
He nodded in disappointment with a smile placed all the things on their places and looked towards Jack’s sleeping face for a moment , then covering him properly left from there after giving soft kiss on his forehead while spreading hand on his head and lastly switching off the room’s lights …
