Next morning rose and Jack came out from his room wearing his night suit and saw his dad sitting on the sofa while reading newspaper …
JACK ( hugging his father from behind ) : Good morning dad …
He ( kissing on the cheek ) : Good morning beta … ( after looking at his son ) what is this ? I have told you na not to come out of the room without changing the night suit …
JACK ( sitting on the sofa ) : Please dad na … I will change it soon
He ( angrily ) : No , just go inside and change your outfits and then come outside … otherwise stay inside the room only … okay ?
JACK ( shocked ) : What dad ? you will take breakfast without me ?
He ( shrugging his shoulders ) : In case if you don’t change then yes I will …
JACK ( hurriedly moved towards his room ) : Then wait for me 5 min I am coming … Don’t have breakfast without me
He ( smiling ) : You are having my words dear …
He resumed reading newspaper till Jack comes back while the table was being laid
After sometime he saw Jack coming out of the room after freshening up
He ( teasingly ) : Jack your 5 mins is equals to 20 mins of mine …
JACK : Dad I forgot to tell you something …
He : What ?
JACK : ( innocently ) That your watch is very fast
He ( nodded his head disappointingly ) : You will never change
After saying this he stopped for a few moments … he went in some other world … where an annoyed voice saying the same thing and the second person was standing there down head , he was standing not with embarrassment but trying to hide his smile
Jack seeing his father in some other world pressed his shoulders and brought him back from the past
JACK ( caringly ) : Dad are you okay na ?
He ( nodding his head in a smile ) : Do breakfast quickly otherwise it will be late
Jack nodded and the two took their breakfast silently
After having their breakfast , Jack went inside his room and his father went out of the home and sat on the chair present in the lawn
Soon Jack joined his father in the lawn and sat next to him
JACK ( while forwarding the coffee cup ) : Dad do you have some time now please ...
He ( while placing the cup aside and looked at the register in his son's hand ) : Yes I do have some free time ... say what problems you are having
JACK ( while opening the register ) : Dad this multiple regulation question is very tough , I am not able to solve it in any way
He ( took the register from his son's hand and looking at the question he nodded ) : Give me the pen and the calculator ...
Jack obeyed him and he started solving the question while teaching Jack , who was sitting there like an obedient student and fully concentrating on the things , his dad was telling him regarding the answer
After the question got solved he logged at his son and asked : You understood everything or not ? are there still any confusion left ?
JACK ( nodded his head in no ) : No dad I understood everything very nicely ... you are the best teacher
He ( smiled ) : Any other question ?
JACK ( shook his head ) : No dad no other question ... ( while placing the things aside ) dad in the evening I may be a little late ... we are having a group discussion class today ...
He ( nodded and silently said ) : Jack why you want to go to India ?
Jack's hand stopped in the middle while taking the cup who was his lip and he looked that is father with a shocked expression
He noticed that his father was looking at him with a fixed stare ...
JACK ( in tensed smile ) : No dad I don't want to go there anymore ...
He ( looking at his son ) Are are you sure about this ? ( Jack nodded his head ... his dad took a deep breath ) but I am not ... ( Jack looked at him ... his dad in serious tone ) because you said all the things while looking down which means that you are lying to me Jack ...
JACK ( grabbing his father's hand ) : Dad I seriously don't want to do anything that will directly or indirectly hurt you ... ( tightening the grip while looking at him ) I will never ask you to go to India , I promise ...
He ( wrapping his hand in his hands ) : that all is not the answer of my question ... ( softly ) I asked that why you want to go there ... as you you still want to go there and I can clearly see that on your face ...
JACK ( looking at his dad silently ) : To spend my vacations there ... this time luckily my vacation got matched with Punit's vacation so we both of us thought to spend the vacation together ...
A small smile came to his lips : What if I call Punit here instead of sending you there ?
JACK ( looking at his father in a smile ) : That is a great idea for sure dad
He ( cupped his son's face and softly said ) : Jack I want to hear the thing which is disturbing you from tomorrow dear ...
