Benjamin pointed to the clothes on his body and said, "Look, Jocey, these are the clothes that grandma bought for me. Isn't it nice? I have never worn such a nice shirt. I'll show it to the kids in kindergarten tomorrow. They have always said that I dressed in ugly clothes."
Children's words might be unintentional, but the meaning was different when adults heard them.
Jocelyn sniffed and said, "It's nice. You are the most handsome boy."
Benjamin became happier after being praised by Jocelyn.
He crawled into Jocelyn's arms and said, "Jocey, you are prettier. It's because you are so pretty that you can give birth to such a handsome son like me!"
Usually, Benjamin's sweet words could make Jocelyn very happy. However, at this moment, it only made Jocelyn feel more upset.
