I can't believe Kim came through.
Her dad is going to help dame and he might not have to go to jail. I snuck out of his room to answer my phone when Kim called.
I go back to his room as quiet as I can.
'' Why did you sneak out? ''
Dang it.
Guess I wasn't as quiet as I thought.
I sit on the bed beside him gently and wrap my arms around him. He tries to escape from my grasp, but I just hold him tighter.
'' Why did you sneak out '' he asks again.
'' I was on the phone with Kim '' I explain.
'' Then why did you sneak out '' he asks.
I don't really know why he is being this way. It's not like I did anything. Yeah, I know Kim is my ex and he might feel threatened.
'' I didn't want to wake you up '' I retort calmly.
