"Hey, where do you think Arkyn went? He just left his food and drinks along with Abby's on the table. He was still eating." Dante strolled up to our table with our sodas as I was taking a bite of the baby back ribs that we got at the buffet. "Damn, this stuff is heaven. I swear missus Samuels has healing hands with her food. This s**t is delicious as hell."

"He told me that Abby has been taking long in the bathroom and he said he just wants to go check on her since she isn't answering her mind link." Dante answered while taking a bite of his wings. "She probably put her block up. Everyone can mind link her now except the children since they don't have their wolves yet. Doesn't surprise me actually, I know the whole pack would want to talk to her now that she is officially their Luna."

"Luckily only a few people has tried to link me, but not everyone has wanted to do it at the same time. I think it would drive me nuts if they did. I guess it's weird in a way for me, The only person I have been linking is Arkyn since he is my brother, but other than that; it has been years since we have belonged to a pack, and yet we couldn't mind link. We were so young." I saw a tear form in his right eye, but he quickly covered it by laughing.

"My senses are in overdrive since we did the ceremony."

"You have to get used to it unfortunately, Beta Dante. That was caused by mixing our blood, and the fact that we mated and marked. Benefits of being a ranked member, I guess.

Remember, as the Beta couple, we have to keep our walls down. It sucks but yeah, everyone needs to be able to link us if there is a problem, unless I go in heat, then my block will be up for a full 4 days." I winked at him and bit my lip. I saw his eyes flicker to his wolf's for a moment, and then they turned back to normal.

We have to make sure everyone follows the laws and rules. "

I nudged him with my shoulder and he gave me a sheepish smile, chuckling with it. He stopped eating and took his glass in hand, taking a sip while looking around. A grin spread across his face as he looked at the crowd. I stare at him, my eyebrow lifted.

"Never thought I would belong to a pack, let alone be a Beta", He answered as he saw me staring at him.

"I am curious to how it feels for you, regarding your background." I dust off my fingers and stood up, stretching my legs. My muscles are sore and I was shivering a bit. Doing a pack run in the dead of winter at night was a stupid idea, but it's the stupid tradition of this pack. Whoever decided that needs to be burned at the stake.

"I am happy, for you, for me, for Arkyn and Abby. Hell lucky bastard." He laughed at whatever he was thinking.

"What is so funny?" I grabbed our glasses to go for a second helping of drinks.

"Arkyn. In a week he went from a lone wolf from no pack to an Alpha. I never thought he would be mated to Abby, a Luna."

"Speaking of Abby," I lean in closer to him, "Did you see her eyes after she received the Alpha power?" I ask him softly, looking over to see if anyone heard me.

"What do you mean?" I didn't notice anything, but then again, I wasn't really looking at her. I was looking at your wolf. Damn, she is beautiful."

I felt Shadow purr and went to go lay on her back playfully. I can feel she is horny, and that is making me in turn horny as well. Dante's amazing fire eyes stared at me and he smirked, knowing full well he can sense my arousal.

"Nope. No time for that now. We still have a party to attend. I mean her caramel eyes turned blue, like a swimming pool blue that is glistening in the sun. I'll be back. In the mood for cream soda." I winked at him. Looking around on my way to the drinks table, I realize most of the pups are probably asleep in the packhouse by now, and the elderly went home too. It is only the young people and some of the older members left with our parents who are dancing and enjoying the rest of the ceremony.

I am still cold from the packhouse run, which is odd since we rarely ever get cold. The wolfsbane will probably affect my immune system for a while. Turning around, I walk back to Dante with our drinks.

"AHHHHHH!!!!!"

The screams shocked me. I dropped the glasses, the soda spilling on the ground as it broke. The pack members started to scatter around in a panic as gun fire went off.

I ran to my parents."Mom, get everyone to the panic rooms. Now!!". She nodded at me, ushering everyone on the way to the packhouse.

All pack members, please stay in your homes and lock all points of entry including windows. Stay in your bunker till I link it is safe to come out. I open a massive mind link to all members. Luckily we built bunkers underneath all the houses.

I turn around to find Dante behind me.

"What the f**k is going on?"

"You can f**k me if I know. Let's go the pack border. Gunfire."

Just as we were about to shift, I saw the packhouse shake, emitting a loud roar.

"ABBY!!!!!" We both looked at each other, our eyes wide with shock.

"Ah f**k. Babe, shift and go to were the gunfire is. I will go to Arkyn. Love you."

"I love you too, and be safe please. I can't lose you." He kissed my cheek and took off running, shifting as he went past the houses.

I took off into the packhouse, running the stairs two at a time. On the third floor, I find Arkyn.

Arkyn was breaking doors down, looking for Abby. Most of the doors were locked.

I felt like I was looking at an angry bull seeing only red. Running over to him, I shake on his shoulder, and when he turned around I gasped. His eyes were pure black with black veins all over the outer circle of his eyes. His hands are glowing blue, which I have no explanation for while in a panic. He can explain that later.

Composing myself, I step closer to him, reaching over to touch his arm, hoping my touch can calm him down. As ranked members, we all share a bond with each other.

"Arkyn" He growled at me; a warning. "Hey, calm down Alpha. You don't f*****g scare me." I pull him in for a hug. After a minute or two of hugging him, I felt himself relax into my body.

"Now that you are relaxed, tell me what happened" I step back, relieved to see he is back to normal.

"Abby is missing." He said it so quietly, that if I didn't have wolf hearing, I wouldn't have heard it.

"What the f**k do you mean by missing?"

"She left to go the bathroom and after about twenty few minutes, I went to go look for her. She wasn't answering her mind link and I was starting to get worried.

I couldn't find her in any of the bathrooms below, so I figured she used ours."

He took my hand and dragged me to their bathroom while talking.

"I came in here and found this."

He showed me the bathroom. The sight before my eyes had me in shock

On the bathroom counter, their was blood, like someone hit their head on the corner. Abby's Luna dress was ripped on the bottom and one of her heels were laying on the floor.

"What's going on outside?" Arkyn slid against the door, tears starting to pool in his eyes.

"We heard screams and then gunfire. My parents took everyone to the panic room. I asked Dante to go check on the screams.

We will find whoever took her. I promise. As Alpha, call every warrior to your office. I already asked Dante to dispose of the body.

Can you feel your bond with Abby?"

"No"

"f**k!"

"Whatever happened was done in a twenty minutes. We as ranked members will shift while everyone else will take a pack car and start tracking every route out of here, roads and forests. We don't know who took her and why. I suspect it is has something do do with that vampire asshole."

After we took photos of Abby's bathroom, we met in her office. I laid out a map on her desk and we split the warriors into 10 teams of 5, giving everyone a route to track, marking it in different colours markers.

We traced her scent down to the edge of the pack border on the west side, making the screams and gunfire we found on the south side a distraction to get her out of area while the warriors were distracted by the panic that ensued.

A vampire got a hold of Emily somehow and dragged her to the border, luckily he was weak and she bit into his arm, giving her a chance to scream and alert us. She is currently in the hospital being treated for shock.

After a few minutes of investigating, we cleared everywhere, even the houses. I told the pack members that it is safe. They should still keep everything locked for now.

"What I don't understand is how. How did someone get to her in the packhouse without anyone seeing?" Luca spoke up. Everyone looked at him, nodding in agreement.

"Whoever did these even knew how to turn the cameras off and on, so we have no footage for twenty minutes. I get we were all busy with the Luna ceremony, and no one really paid attention to the packhouse, but how can an unknown person get into the packhouse, turn the cameras off and grab Abby in a span of twenty minutes? We all know our Luna is a badass, and she would have fought like hell, so this would be someone we trusted." Leah spoke up, Luca's team manager. She might be seventeen, but damn she can kick ass.

"Unless this was a hacker, which I suspect"

"I have to agree with you, but who can it be? Everyone with access to the cameras are the ranked members, their parents and the team leads. We have to change all the codes after tonight but for now the most important thing is getting Abby back.

"Arkyn, can you feel her? Is she awake yet?" I ask him, worried at what the answer will be.

"Not feeling our bond since I haven't been able to contact her since the bathroom incident."

"That gives them a 40 minute head start on us. f**k that is a long time. Okay head out. We can't waste anymore time. Your Luna is missing. Whoever finds her, don't kill the culprits. We need them for questioning. Bring your Luna back home. You understand?"

"Yes Beta!!"

"Let's go. Move out!"

"I am going to pack a bag quickly with clothes for all four of us. I will also be putting weapons in another backpack. We will need it when we are going to be shifting back. I gave Dante a kiss and left to go to our room on the second floor. Grabbing two backpacks, I shove in two pairs of sneakers, two pairs of leggings, socks, t-shirts, shorts for the men and underwear.

Fuck, I felt like a needed a shower after we burned all the rogue bodies that broke into the border. Our gate was cut again, only this time it was much worse. Luckily the warriors were stationed after the ceremony at their posts.

Who knows what would have happened if those rogues got through when it was still early in the evening, escpecially with the pups playing freely in the backyard.

I took off running with the two backpacks in tow to armory.

Packing two Beretta 92FS, two flashbangs, Abby's special stabby bat, and I threw in the tomahawk and tear gas for good measure.

On my leg I strapped my knife holster, showcasing my five Cold Steel 80PGTK GI Tanto blades.

I waited at the stairs for Arkyn and Dante. They were in shorts and barefoot, ready to shift.

"Hey, I am not going to shift. I talked to Dante earlier and I will be riding on his back. That way you can strap the backpack on me.

"We figured it would be faster that way since her wolf is really small and as Alphas we can run faster" Dante looked at me while reoving his shirt.

"Shut up hoe. I may be small but Shadow can hide in places big bad Alpha wolves can't"

Who will carry the second one with the weapons?" I asked, looking between them. Then they did something me and Abby do as well.

These assholes played rock paper scissors. I laughed and my ribs hurt a bit. Stupid wolfsbane. It will not stop me from getting my sister back though. I am a bit tired, but we are all starting to feel the effect of not having Abby around. Having the Luna around is crucial to the pack. Arkyn won naturally. "Lucky me" He muttered.

"Arkyn, how are you doing?" Dante shifted and I climbed on his back.

"I am pissed the f**k off right now. I mean, it is almost eleven o clock at night and my mate is who knows where"

"Keep that anger in and unleash it on the bastards that took Abby.

"Deal."

We shifted and took off running on the side where we picked up Abby's scent last. We noticed another scent too but it was unknown. Definitely not someone from our pack. Dante is fast, but Arkyn's wolf can run like a bat out of hell. He was a few yards in front of us, sniffing as we ran.

After three hours of running, we were on the opposite side of Ireland in the city.

I picked up her scent

Fuck yes Arkyn. Stop where you are.

Shift back. We can't risk any cameras picking up a huge ass werewolf in the city.

Babe, run till you get to Arkyn and shift back as well as soon as I am off your back.

I will.

We ran till we found Arkyn two streets from some apartment complexes that were being built. He already shifted back and got dressed, getting Dante's clothes out for him.

"Where did you pick up her scent?" I got a jacket on, the cold brushing against my skin, Dante shifted back and I handed his clothes back to him.

"I picked it up a few streets back, but it was extremely faint and mixed with something. It only got stronger when we got closer to those buildings." He pointed towards the apartments that were being built. In the back of it was a forest.

"Forest for easy access if you want to bring in an unconscious person. And since there are no workers at night, I can say one of these will be our best bet." I looked up the half written name on my phone to see if I can get any information on these buildings.

"Babe, should we split up and start searching? What is the plan?"

"We will stay together. Her scent?" I looked at Arkyn.

"Weak. I can't pin point which building it is." His eyes turned black, and Chaos was out in full force.

"Want to bet it is the one with a basement?"
