Abby

"Wow. Damn Em. You look beautiful. Every man won't even be looking at the Luna and Beta. All eyes will be on you tonight" I winked at her as I put on my earrings. She looks elegant in a dark grey, off the shoulder gown that had a slit down from her hips for the ceremony tonight. Curly hair braided with flowers, she reminds me of a time she was younger. Looking sexy yet beautiful. Kat and I were getting ready in my room while Emily wanted to surprise us with the dress she chose tonight. Arkyn, Dante and Kai were getting ready in Kat's room.

"Screw you hoe. You know for a fact that two men will spesifically be looking at us. I will kill them if they look at other women." I laughed at Kat's statement, knowing full well that she means it.

Kai arrived this morning and hot damn. Looks like Arkyn had a special talent with working with handsome men. First Dante and now Kai. Tall and mysterious, Kai looked sweet and innocent at first with his blond hair and blue eyes, but the moment he put on that leather jacket, I knew all the ladies will be swooning over him and they might even try to get him in their bed.

"Thanks. I feel weird wearing a dress though." she answered nonchalantly as if tonight wasn't a big deal. I am stressing out, but I can't let it show that I am nervous.

"Same" Kat and I answered at the same time as I finished putting the last touches of my hair in a messy bun updo, making both of us look at each other and laugh. The red dress I was wearing was delivered last night, and it complimented the black heels perfectly.

Only my two best friends knew what it looked liked. I kept it secret from the rest of the family.

"So what do you ladies think of Kai?" Kat asked as we were putting on our heels.

"I don't know. He was weird this morning when he saw us. Did anyone else saw how distant he was? With Arkyn he was laughing but as soon as he saw us, he bolted out of the door and ever since then he seems to be avoiding us."

"No, I didn't notice. I guess Arkyn was distracting me too much." I giggle while trying to put on my lipstick.

"Cunt. We could see you f****d this morning. You know your hair was a complete mess right?"

"Whatever. Let's go. The boys are waiting for us downstairs." I scoff at Emily.

I hope tonight goes perfect. I could hear the chatter of everyone in the backyard, waiting for us. The way my mother carried on was as if its our wedding and not the ceremony.

The halls were decorated with hanging bouquets of red dahlias and sunflowers all the way to down the stairs till the backyard stage where we will become the ranked members tonight.

With Emily holding my right hand and Kat my left, we started walking down the steps to be escorted by the gys to the stage; after all, it is their ceremony too. Kai will only be escorting Emily as bodyguard since they are not mate, which was kind of sad for us. All four of us took a bet if Kai will be her mate or not, and unfortunately for us, we lost a hundred bucks since those two assholes said he will not be her mate and they were right to our surprise.

We came to a halt on the top of the stairs, and the chattering stopped. Everyone looked at us in awe. All eyes were on us; the parents and the guys. The noise outside was quieting down outside.

My mother and father stood there with tears in their eyes and proud smiles.

Arkyn's glittering baby blue eyes sparked with mischief and he made his way up to stairs first with my parents following him.

"Darling, you look amazing. Where did you get this dress?" My mom asked as she came up to hug me.

"I ordered it online." I hugged her back with one arm while Arkyn was holding the other.

The guys were matching with us, wearing black jeans, dress shoes and black dress shirts. Arkyn's long hair wasn't in its normal ponytail style. Instead it was a small ponytail down in the middle with the rest of his hair hung loose around his face.

He gave me a kiss while everyone faffed over our dresses. "You ready for this?" He leaned in close to me, taking me by the waist.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I whisper back, taking in the muscles and clearly visible bulge from his attire. I could help but to get horny. I could already feel my veins heating up at the pure sight of him.

"We will be waiting outside sweetheart."

As soon as they left, I grab Arkyn into a deep kiss, letting my tongue taste him.

"Don't do that little wolf. I'll chase you with pleasure any other night, but for now we have to make you Luna first." His mouth quirked, and I couldn't help the small smile that spreaded across my face at the thought of him running down these halls to catch me.

We walked hand in hand to the backstage with Kat and Dante behind us, and Emily and Kai behind them. I noticed what Emily was talking about.

Kai looks uncomfortable holding her hand, like he would rather be any place else but here. I looked at him and smiled, wondering what is going on.

Hey Storm, can you sense what is going with Kai?

I don't know, maybe I can figure it out after he becomes a part of the pack tonight. I can't read him yet like Arkyn or Dante.

I think we should talk to him tomorrow.

I shut off my conversation with my wolf, walking up to the stage.

We all stood at the base back of the stage, waiting for my father to speak. I am getting more nervous by the minute, and Arkyn gav me a kiss on the forehead to calm me down. Looking over at Kat and Dante, they were already making out and we just laughed them off. My father tapped the mic to silence the crowd.

"Frost Pack, we are all gathered here tonight to celebrate the pack's next generation. As we all know, Abigail Hawthorne turned twenty one this week, and even though she might be young, I believe she is ready to lead this pack into greatness along with the new Beta and Gamma It saddens me to know that I won't be Alpha anymore with my Beta, but old men has got to retire sometime right?"

The crowd laughed, and I could see my vision getting blurry. The tears formed in my eyes and I saw that Kat was crying too. We are going to ruin our make up if my dad continues like this.

"Furthermore, the future Luna and Beta also found their mates, and they will also receive their titles tonight. But let's not delay the inevitable any further. I introduce to you the future of the Frost Pack."

The crowd started cheering as we connected our hands with everyone and walked up.

The sound of clapping, cheering and howling got even louder as we saw the crowd.

The Elder conducting the ceremony was standing with a golden cup and dagger ready with our parents standing infront of us.

"You ready sweetheart?" My father asked as he got the dagger and placed the cup on a small table in the centre of the stage.

"Let's do this Alpha." I smile at him

"Abigail Hawthorne, do you promise to lead this pack to the best of your ability and strength as Luna, following wolf laws and making the right decisions in the best interest of this pack, along with the help of your Beta and Gamma and their mates?" The elder starts talking and the crowd is so silent, you could hear a pin drop.

"I solemnly promise to do so"

"Do you promise to treat all pack members and future generations with the respect and kindness, and only hand out punishments if needed according to laws?"

"I solemnly promise to do so"

"By Our Law and The Law of the Moon Goddess, you are hereby declared the official Alpha of the Frost Pack.

My dad and mom both cut their palms with the dagger, and then they cut mine. My palm touched theirs and the flow of blood went into the cup. My vision got clouded by a bright blue light and it felt like a billion volts was running through me. I was blinded for a moment as the Alpha power ran through my blood.

My father handed me a small towl to hold on my wound while I had to wait for the elders speech with everyone else.

"Do you, Kat Spencer along with your Mate, Dante Mcall and Gamma Emily Ray, promise to lead this pack as Betas and Gamma, to the best of your ability alongside your Luna, to assist her in helping with future events and running this pack as a team, including the punishments she could bestow upon those who breaks our laws?"

"We all promise to do so."

Kat and Dante's hands were cut and their palms were mixed with mine, and Emily joined in as her palm was cut as well. I felt a massive bond form with the members of the pack, their thoughts running through my mind a million miles per second. I don't understand what was happening. My head was pounding with everyone's thoughts. This isn't mind link; this is something else.

I smiled at Arkyn, and the butterflies couldn't stop fluttering in my stomach. He suddenly stepped forward and asked the elder for the mic and dagger,

What the f**k is he about to do?

"I know this isn't tradition for any pack, but I want to do something special, knowing you love your Luna as much as I do. I know there will be some things being said at what I am about to do, and that will not make me weaker man."

Arkyn stepped infront of me, blocking my view from the crowd. He sliced his palm open with the dagger, shocking me.

I gasp as he knelt down in front of me on one knee, and tears kept flowing as he started to speak.

"I may not have been the best man in this world, but I feel like I can be with you by my side. I promise to love you unconditionally even when you are feeling stabby and not to ever stand in your way when you made a decision. I promise to stand by your side till eternity, not only as Alpha, but as your equal for the rest of our lives together. I will do whatever you say when you say it and and I'll try my best not to disobey you. I promise to stay by your side even if you give me hell."

The pack laughs at his word, especially the men.

The tears are flowing and f**k this man. I didn't want to cry tonight.

"You are forever my mate and my Luna, and I promise to be your Alpha, even if we fight. I, Arkyn Hale accept you, Abigail Hawthorne as my soulmate and my forever, the love of my life and the blessing that was given to me by the Moon Goddess.

I love you."

He took my palm in his and our blood mixed, signifying the bond as he grabbed me and kissed me infront of the whole pack, making them go crazy. I have never heard a pack so loud before.

The crowd went on their knees as well; a sign of respect towards the new ranked members.

I was handed the mic to say a short speech and after that it is my wolf reveal and the pack run.

To say that Abby's dress shocked me was an understatement. It accentuated her curves and made her look more grown up. Her make-up was light yet romantic with smokey eye liner and a dark red lipstick. I think she looks beautiful in sweatpants and a sweather, but that dress was something else; I wanted nothing more then to rip it off with my teeth though, even if that means ruining it. She could be mad all she wants, but seeing her in that dress makes me feral.

This ceremony was big and it felt weird to be part of it. I was never part of a pack before, much less the mate of a Luna.

I couldn't help but hold on to her waist as we walked through the crowd, talking a bit with everyone before we head to the food. A few boys came running up to her with flowers. They all looked up to her greatly, even the children. The night was filled with dancing and laughing. A local DJ got hired to provide music for the evening.

"I am hungry, and we all know how great Missus Samuels food is. Do you think we should get food?" I ask as I'm snaking my hands around her waist, leaning in to kiss her.

"Get me food as well my handsome Alpha." She bit my lip. "I will be right back. I don't think my bladder can hold anymore champagne." She giggled, her eyes still not having changed back to its caramel colour. Ever since she shifted for the pack run, her eyes stayed a glitterling baby blue color, as if Storm was in control the whole time.

"Be safe, I will see at the table. I love you." I kissed her cheek and went to the food while she went to the bathroom. I grabbed us chicken wings, ribs, a few salads and a pudding.

"So I take it you are already mated and marked, uh?" I hear a voice behind me. Turning around I see a man who I haven't met. He is smaller then me, and the way he is standing makes me think he is a snob, quite a young one too. One of those that can get whatever he wants just because he thinks he is entitled to it. I hope this guy won't be a problem for tonight.

"Guess its official right?" I eye him while pouring drinks. He is just standing there for a few minutes without saying a word, trying to intimidate me by his expression.

"Yea right."

I take my time, trying to get a sense of this guy. Walking away with his back towards me, I sigh. First night and already trouble. This is just great.

I tried to mindlink Abby but was met with a block. Finding it strange I go put our food down and went into the packhouse to look for her. I take it she went to use the bathroom in our room. The house is silent, making me a bit worried.

"Little Wolf, you in here?" I ask as I open the door, peering around for any sign if her. An uneasiness fills my stomach. I smell blood, but the scent is faint.

Walking into the bathroom, I panic as I see one of her high heels on the ground.

"ABBY!!!!!!!!!!!" I roar, shaking the house.

Just then screams from outside filled the packhouse.
