We were all picking at our breakfast of pastries, fruit and pancakes. Looking around the dining room table, everyone looks like they climbed out of a dungeon. We did technically, but that's not the point.
None of us has slept much since the night Abby was taken and that was five days ago, resulting in us taking turns between running the pack, training our warriors and taking care of Abby. Luckily, Abby's father has temporarily taken over as Alpha while all this is going on, because Arkyn is not in the right state of mind to be learning all the stuff associated with being an Alpha.
There are a lot of things he still has to learn, but he and Dante left the pack for a while to explain to their mentor what is going on.
We offered for them to take the jet, but Arkyn wasn't having it;
