Waiting for Dr. Matthews to come out of the operating theater felt like waiting for an eternity. Kat and Dante made it back without further incident. Hours has passed and we still heard nothing. What was done to her so badly that she needed to be in surgery for this long? Pacing up and down the hall, my worry for my mate consumes me. I didn't notice she was so badly hurt. It was dark when we finally got to her. Standing by the window, I saw the sun starting to rise.
No one has slept since yesterday morning; the whole day consisted on preparing for the ceremony and then right after Abby's kidnapping happened.
