It was a week after Siena's disappearance.
Ricci stood by the patio of his study. It was about four pm and the sun had receded a bit. It had been breezy for sometime earlier and now all was still. The lawn grass that spread from beyond the patio were manicured and were a prominent green and though Ricci's eyes were on them, he wasn't really seeing them. Some birds chirped as they fluttered past but Ricci did not hear them either.
It was when the patio doors opened that Ricci turned to see who.
It was Donato. He moved to his boss who stood close to the edge of the paved floor.
"Have you found her?" Ricci asked him.
"No, boss" Donato replied.
"The instruction was to find her," Ricci answered.
"Yes, boss. We will," Donato said.
"Have you contacted her family?" Ricci asked.
