“Ramon please can I talk to you about something important? I won't take your time.”
I turned to look at my mum, who was standing with my sister beside her.
I checked the time on my wristwatch and saw I still had some time to spare.
“Alright mum I am listening. What is it that you both want from me?” I asked them.
“It is about Estrella. We have not been seeing her in the house for three days now. Do you know if something had happened to her?” my mum asked.
I looked at both of them and noticed how worried they were for that girl.
Only if they know who she really is, I am sure they won't want to have anything to do with her.
“I don't know anything about her. Maybe she has finally decided to quit this job.” I said, pretending not to have any idea.
