A star fell. Bright and golden, running across the sky in a flurry of light.
A group of young people stood on a hill overlooking a city, it was dark besides for glimmering sky overhead filled with specks of silver light.
“Look! There’s a shooting star!” One of the females said, she had green hair and similarly, forest green eyes. The group looked towards where she was pointing. The star had just disappeared from the c***k of the horizon, but more started to fall. It almost looked as if it was raining.
The stars continued to streak across the night sky without an end in sight until dawn broke, overtaking the light of the stars, the sun rose.
