We had underestimated how difficult the trip would be to Ohio. We searched every hill and mountain we could find, but we were still unable to find anything. Chase had begged me to feed on him because I was exhausted. I'd decline. I couldn't eat him up. I simply could not.
"Tonight we'll stay at the hotel, and tomorrow we'll continue our journey. There is one more mountain that we haven't yet located.” I said as we checked into our room.
Sleep was desperately needed. I'll be fine after I get some sleep. “We'll be sharing a room, Inez and I. You can all work things out on your own. " Chase said.
“Who appointed you as the leader?” Riley asked.
"Would you rather stay with her?" He asked.
“No.” Riley responded right away and started to walk toward the room indicated on the card.
