We heard a scream from afar after a while. I pointed the light in that direction and it met Ally's eyes. It was red from her tears. She was shaking and stuttering. "She’s dead... Jody is dead." She looked at me. I pointed the light at the ground and found a body.
"Jody?" I called. I bent down to check on her and found marks. I looked at Ally and shook my head. Instantly I knew it was the demon's work. A demon was in our mist.
"Run!" I yelled as I took Ally's hand. Jody was reacting to the bite. She was turning into one of them. Ally thought her friend was waking up but that wasn't it at all.
