The children had waited for three hours until Astrid woke up. Mrs. Parker went to make something for them to eat.
Astrid woke up weak, and when she called Nora’s name, Nora was shocked but happy that her friends could recognize her again. Astrid’s hand was placed on her head, and she was tired as she tried to get out of bed but was stopped by her three friends.
“You should stay back in bed until you find your strength again,” Lauv commented. He wanted to get her back to bed, but Astrid shook her head.
“I’m fine.” She searched around her room with her eyes and they eventually fell on Lauv. “What are you guys still doing here? What happened to me?” She asked.
“You kind of passed out. For about three hours and a few minutes.”
“Three hours?” Astrid asked, and the three of them nodded.
