That night I heard a knock on my door. I was on my way out to visit Riley and Theo in the community. I walked to my door to check who it was and I saw Ava standing. "You are back," I said as she entered my room. She had a poet in her hand. She told me she wanted to go and visit her father for a while. She never talked about her parents to me before and I never did either.
"What's you got there?" I asked.
She went to seat on my bed immediately. "I know it is late but just hear me out. I saw my dad leave 20 minutes ago. Dispatch called. He is a cop. Just to be cleared. They are bringing in every officer from the Royal woods department and even state police." Ava said as I walked to the seat next to her.
"For what?" I asked.
"They found a dead body in the woods."
"Dead body?" I asked
