I noticed the beautiful girl that stood next to a man. Her father had given a speech earlier and her name was mentioned. He'd called her Cleo. "I haven't seen the head of the council yet." I glanced at Theo who was focused on the man that stood next to Cleo. The man met Theo's gaze but I looked away and focused my eyes on Cleo. Her face was new to NYC and I could tell. What was her mission in my city? I had no idea but people loved her.
It was as if I never existed. "We have to find him." I narrowed my eyes at the man this time and he noticed I was staring at him and immediately, I looked back at Theo. I watched Theo's eyes drift away from the man and looked at me.
"I have an idea. We have to find the library first" he said and we walked into the crowds. I didn't know why he would want
