“I will see you tomorrow at the party.” Astrid waved at Heather before heading towards Nora. The past two days had been busy for her. The voice hasn't come back since that time at the cafeteria. She could vividly remember what had happened and what exactly the voice had said to her. She remembered every last word the voice said to her.
Everyone stared at her the minute she gasped back to life. Her friends had thought her mind had wandered off again. Lauv had asked her what she was thinking about when she gasped that loud, but Astrid didn't know what to say. She had felt embarrassed and had run out of the cafeteria.
Even when her friends ran after her to see what was going on, she told them to let her be. She told them she wanted to be on her own. She had gone home early that day to cry
