Monna tried to hold her tears back but she still burst into tears. Lola went to get her up instantly, wiping her cheeks, "Honey, are you alright? Does it hurt?"
Monna sniffed against her chest as Lola picked her up.
Mia was awed by the garden of roses, "Wow, this is the most beautiful garden of roses I've ever seen. Mommy, can I pick up one?"
Lola thought for a pause, nodding slightly, "Of course. But only one, or the scenery will be ruined."
"Okay, Mommy."
Mia went forth and took a look at one of the pink roses, reaching out a chubby hand.
"Stop!" Before she could pick up the rose, someone suddenly bellowed behind her back. Mia startled and whipped around.
Chase Dalton was staring at her with those cold eyes. He looked furious.
