"Mommy! Mommy!" Mia screamed when Lola cleaned the dishes. Lola walked out of the kitchen instantly, "What's up, honey?"
Mia looked panicked, "It's Monna! Monna's gone!"
"What?!" Lola's heart lodged in her throat. Cole, Kevin, Mia, and Lola searched everywhere, but no one could find Monna.
After making sure Monna was not hiding in the backyard, Lola went to the main house directly.
"Where's Dalton?"
"Miss Swain, Mr. Dalton left one hour ago."
"He's left? Did you see Monna then? My daughter…"
