Lola knew Chase was determined to give her a hard time. It was no use no matter what she said or did. So she didn't waste her breath as she walked out of his office, carrying her files and slamming the door in his face.
She had some temper. Chase didn’t seem he was mad. He looked quite pleased as Lola was gone, wondering amusingly how long was it gonna take her to write down all those files.
He knew her little tricks from the beginning and he refused to let her get what she wanted.
