Chapter Four

I am roaming around the garden and run into Subaru.
Miki: "Hey Subaru."
Subaru: "Miki, what are you doing out here?"
Miki: "I live here, why wouldn't I be here?"
He growls and glares at me.
Subaru: "You know what I mean. Why are you walking around without one of us?"
Miki: "Because I feel like it."
I try to walk away, but he pulls me back into his arms. He forces me to look him in the eye.
Subaru: "I'm going to have to punish you, Miki."
I give him a teasing look.
Miki: "Oh really?"
He teleports us to his room, sits on his bed, and lays me over his lap. He lifts my skirt and yanks down my underwear, while holding me on his lap as I struggle to get up and away from him.
Subaru: "I'm going to spank you fifty times."
Miki: "No, Subaru-nii, please don't! I promise I won't do it again!"
Then he rains extremely painful slaps to my ass as I scream and cry, begging him to stop. Once he is finally finished, I run from the house. I don't like it there right now, but can anyone really blame me? It's just punishment after punishment right now. I need to go to a place where I can be myself whenever I want.
I end up at the bar. I find Asano and when he tries to say hi to me, I cut him off with a kiss.
Miki: "I am going to sing two songs to help me relieve some stress. I'm not going to accept any visitors tonight, got it."
Asano: "Of course, Miki. Whatever you want."
I smirk and hop on stage. I begin with I Want Your Bite. The crowd cheers for me and I see Kou in the crowd with his brothers. I give them a wink as I get ready for my next song, f**k Away the Pain. I go into the back to his office, which he always lets me use as if it's my dressing room. Asano comes back to me.
Asano: "There are four men out here claiming to be your brothers."
Miki: "Ruki, Kou, Azusa, and Yuma?"
Asano: "Yeah, do you want them back here?"
Miki: "Sure, let them in."
Asano: "As you wish, my angel."
I growl as I glare at him.
Miki: "Don't call me that."
Asano: "Sorry Miki."
He runs out, and then my adopted brothers come in.
Yuma: "Pretty good up there, Bunny."
Kou: "Neko-kun, you were fabulous!"
Ruki: "You were great, Miki."
Azusa: "I wanted to see more, Miki-kun."
I hug them as I thank them.
Miki: "How did you guys know I would be here?"
Kou: "Familiars."
Miki: "Of course. Are you going to make me go home now?"
Ruki: "You should, before your Sakamaki brothers worsen your punishment, but we won't force you."
Miki: "Well, if nothing else, you are right about that. I just needed to get away for a bit."
I kiss their cheeks and then make my way home, by teleporting into my bedroom. I scream when I see Shu on my bed.
Miki: "Shu?! What are you doing here?"
Shu: "Thought I'd sleep with you tonight. Where were you?"
Miki: "I would lo-"
Shu: "If you tell me where you were, I won't punish you."
I look at the ground.
Miki: "I was at a bar, singing. I needed to get away for a bit. Please don't be mad."
I feel his arms pull me in and relax into his embrace.
Shu: "It's alright, Miki. I am not angry. I'm a little upset though. Please tell me whenever you are going to do that, so I can be there to protect you."
Miki: "I will."
I get changed for bed, and we fall asleep, cuddling each other.
The following evening, I just finished making cupcakes for Kanato and call his name. He appears almost instantly.
Kanato: "What is it?"
Miki: "I made cupcakes for you and Teddy."
Kanato: "Yay, Teddy is happy too."
He immediately takes the cupcakes and starts eating them.
Miki: "So Kanao-nii, will you please do me a favor?"
Kanato stops eating the cupcakes and looks at me.
Kanato: "If this is about your punishment, the answer is no."
I nervously laugh.
Miki: "Hehe, nevermind, forget I even brought up this conversation."
Before he can reply, we hear a knocking sound throughout the mansion.
Miki: "I've got it."
I teleport to the front door and open it to see our father.
Miki: "Why are you here? Haven't you done enough damage to my brothers already?"
Karlheinz: "Can I not visit my favorite child?"
I give him a scrutinizing look and he sighs.
Karlheinz: "I came to see your condition, Miki."
Miki: "Of course you have. Otherwise, you wouldn't be here."
Karlheinz: "Once I have examined you, I will leave."
Miki: "Alright."
I bring him into the examination room. I take off my shirt and turn around as my wings enlarge and unfold. He touches them, then he grabs one of my wings and pulls roughly, causing me to let out a scream. The boys run in and separate me from him. I feel a pair of arms around me. I peek from his chest to see Shu's arms are around me and the others are between me and our father.
Ayato: "How dare you touch her."
Reiji: "You should leave now, before things get worse, father."
Our father laughs at their reactions and I push Shu off of me. I can't let them get punished because of me. I try to pass them, but they won't let me.
Miki: "Guys, I don't need your help. I can handle this on my own."
Shu: "Miki,"
Subaru: "Don't do this if you are trying to protect us."
Miki: "Just because I don't want you boys to get hurt, doesn't mean I'm lying. I can handle this. I've done it before. You guys usually aren't here when it happens."
Karlheinz: "If you all back down now, I will excuse you from punishment. It will be over quickly."
Reiji: "May I stay to see how you examine Miki? I won't intrude unless her life is in danger."
Karlheinz: "You may, Reiji. Her life will not be in any danger though. If it makes you boys feel better, you may all stay. Just to see that she won't be too badly harmed."
All the boys, except for Reiji, glare at him as they take their seats on the couches. I try to keep the painful expressions hidden as best as possible as my father tests some things out.
Karlheinz: "Just one more thing."
Miki: "You're going to pluck a feather aren't you?"
He plucks a feather as I yelp from the pain. My wings wrap around my body as I soothe the spot the pain is coming from. I speak to him with an attitude.
Miki: "Alright, you got your feather, can I put my shirt on now?"
Karlheinz: "Watch your attitude. Go ahead with your shirt. I'll be back in six months."
He leaves, and I run to my room in tears. The boys come into my room and surround me.
Ayato: "How long has this been going on?"
Miki: "Since I got my wings. Every six months he comes to see how they have grown. If I resist, I get punished with the electric chair."
Laito: "No wonder you are afraid of lightning storms."
Subaru: "You should've told us sooner."
Kanato: "We can't protect you if we don't know."
Miki: "I'll be fine, I always am. My wings are just sensitive."
Reiji: "May I see them?"
I nod before bringing my wings out. He and Shu start soothing my wings.
Shu: "Tell us next time, so we can help you."
Miki: "I promise."
Ayato: "By the way, your punishment is over."
