The Beloved Sakamaki Sister

Chapter Five

It has been a few weeks and Yui has tried to escape, failed; tried to kill Laito, failed again. My brothers have been drinking from her a lot, and I don't feel as close to them as I used to. I haven't felt so much jealousy toward a sacrificial bride before Yui came here. She pisses me off and I feel ignored. So I'm going to the bar.

When I arrive, I ignore Asano's bad attempt at flirting and go up on stage. As I am about to sing, I see Shu in the back, watching me. I sing Already Over. The crowd cheers for me.

Miki: "Thank you. For my next song, I will sing Shatter Me."

Once I have finished, everyone cheers as I walk off-stage and find Shu waiting for me.

Shu: "Miki,"

Miki: "Yes?"

Shu: "Let's go home."

Miki: "Okay."

He picks me up and we leave together. A couple of days later, I figure out what I want to do in order to get my brothers back. I see Yui run out of the front door from my window and smirk to myself, before teleporting in front of her, making her halt in her tracks.

Miki: "Hey there, Little s**t. Trying to sneak out again, I see."

Yui: "Ah, Miki-san! Please don't hurt me."

I smirk.

Miki: "As fun as it would be to hear your screams, that's not why I am here."

Yui: "Then what do you want?"

Miki: "Well, I want you to get the hell out of here. I don't want you to ever come back. You keep taking all the attention of my brothers. So now I will help you get out of here."

Yui: "Tha-"

Miki: "Don't waste your time thanking me. This is purely for my own selfish purposes."

Yui: "I would still like to thank you."

Miki: "You can thank me by leaving and never coming back. Now then, I'll be keeping all of my brothers occupied while you escape."

Yui: "Alright. I really appre-"

Miki: "Go in five minutes."

Yui: "Okay."

I wave to her, teleport into my room, get my bag, and teleport to the living room.

Miki: "Hey guys, please join me in the living room, I have something to show all of you."

Ayato: "What is it, Miki?"

Laito: "I'm here kitten."

Kanato: "I brought Teddy."

Subaru: "I'm here."

Then Shu and Reiji appear on the two chairs as the other four sit on the couches.

Reiji: "What would you like to show us?"

Shu: "What's in the bag?"

Miki: "That is exactly what I called all of you down for. I went shopping with Yui and got a few new things."

I pull out the lingerie I bought. Laito, Ayato, and Kanato get up and surround me.

Ayato: "Yours truly definitely approves of the selections."

Kanato: "This one is my favorite."

Laito: "Will you model them for me, Little Kitten?"

Subaru: "They look nice."

Reiji: "They are fine, however, I'm going to have to give you a punishment for leaving the house without any of us."

Miki: "Come on, Reiji; If I had told any of you, it wouldn't have been a surprise. How could I have brought any of you with me?"

Reiji: "Regardless of that fact, you broke a rule. Go up to your room while we discuss your punishment."

I huff and leave with my new clothes. I scream out my frustration and anger, before looking out my window to see Yui isn't even fully off the grounds. I growl and teleport to her, making her scream as I quickly cover her mouth.

Miki: "Shut up, Little s**t. My cover didn't last long enough, so I'm getting you out now."

I harshly grab her arm and start running for the entrance gate of the driveway. We run through the open gate and are abruptly stopped by my brothers, appearing before us, looking quite amused/angry.

Reiji: "Where do you think you're going?"

I growl at their stubbornness to constantly be in my way.

Miki: "Stress relief shopping. Have a problem with that? Or is it because I'm taking Yui and none of you?"

Laito: "Kitten is getting feisty."

Subaru: "Quit acting so spoiled. You know you're already in trouble."

Ayato: "Come back inside with yours truly, and we won't make your punishment too harsh."

Kanato: "Only for you at least. Yui was trying to escape."

Miki: "Forget it! We are leaving for a couple of hours!"

Shu: "Miki!"

I let my wings rip out of my shirt and take Yui into the air with me.

Miki: "Too bad it's not a full moon! You might have been able to catch up with me then!"

I focus on flying away as fast as I can, which is faster than they can keep up.

Yui: "Eek, please don't drop me!"

Miki: "Calm down, I'm not going to drop you! I'm saving you and restoring my life!"

Yui: "Miki, where are we going?"

Miki: "To Asano's place."

Yui: "Who is Asano?"

Miki: "A friend. He's a big flirt, but he won't do anything to hurt you. He's cool."

We arrive at Asano's private cabin. I land and put my wings away. She follows me to the front door and I find the key in one of the lanterns next to his door. We go inside and he isn't here yet.

Yui: "Is it really okay for us to be here?"

Miki: "Yeah, he said I could come over whenever I want. He knows about my overprotective brothers. We are staying in the basement, just follow me."

I lead her downstairs and open the bottom door to reveal his spacious basement. It's like an apartment. It has two bedrooms, a little living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and two tiny storage rooms.

Miki: "Make yourself at home. We're going to be here for a while. That room is yours to use. This one is mine."

Yui: "Thank you, Miki."

Miki: "It's fine. I told you, it was for my own selfish reasons."

I slightly blush and look away.

Yui: "I know, but now you're in trouble with your brothers again and if they find us, we'll both get punished."

Miki: "They don't know about Asano, so there's no way they'll find us. The only ones who might find us are the Mukamis and Shu, and I know Asano has sworn to secrecy, but I am not sure if he can stand up to their torture methods. But there's about a 90% chance they won't find us."

Yui: "That's a relief."

I go into my room and plop down on my bed. So comfy and soft. Asano loves spoiling me. I end up falling asleep for a couple of hours, until I am rudely woken up by Yui in my room, shaking me awake.

Yui: "Miki, wake up, wake up."

I growl.

Miki: "What?"

Yui: "There's someone upstairs."

Miki: "It's probably just Asano."

Yui: "That's what I thought at first, but there are two voices."

I sit up and jump out of bed. I start up the stairs and put my ear against the door to hear someone moaning. This causes me to get irritated. I immediately open the door and see Asano on top of some random chick.

Miki: "Hey there."

They both scream as they jump up and look at me.

Asano: "Miki! What the hell?! Don't do that."

Girl: "Who is she?"

Asano: "Sakura, it's okay, she's not my girlfriend. She's just a friend who sings at my bar."

Sakura: "Oh, hello, I'm Sakura Suoh."

She holds out her hand, but I ignore it.

Miki: "Miki. Anyhow, Asano, a girl and I need to hide out in your basement for a while. That cool with you?"

Asano: "Sure. I'm guessing this has to do with your brothers?"

Miki: "Yup. Her name is Yui, she's downstairs. I'll let you two get back to it."

I go back downstairs and Yui looks really nervous.

Miki: "It's just Asano. He has a girl with him."

Yui: "Thank goodness. I was so scared."

Miki: "I could tell."

I collapse onto the couch and turn on the TV. Yui sits on the other couch. After a while, I sigh and turn it off, causing her to look at me.

Miki: "Yui, it's no secret how I feel about you. I think you are super annoying and very clumsy, but you are the only female I consider to be a friend. There's something I want to tell you that I can't tell my brothers."

She is shocked by my statement, but nods.

Yui: "Alright."

I take a deep breath.

Miki: "I wanted you out of the mansion, because I was scared you would steal my brothers from me when my mood swings start."

Yui: "What are you talking about?"

Miki: "I'm pregnant."

She gasps.

Yui: "That's great, isn't it?"

Miki: "Yeah, if I knew who the father was. I'm not sure which of my brothers is the father."

I look down at my hands.

Yui: "Why not tell all of them and then maybe they can help figure it out."

Miki: "If they weren't upset with me right now, I would try that. But right now, I would never get a word in before they punish me."

We sit in silence for a bit, before she breaks it.

Yui: "Wait, if you're pregnant, you need to feed more than usual, but you can't feed on humans. How are you going to feed without your brothers around?"

Tears start to well up in my eyes.

Miki: "That's the main problem right now. I can't."

Yui: "Then we need to find a vampire that you can feed from, fast."

Miki: "I'm trying to come up with a solution. However, I can't let any of them know about this place. It is my last resort for security against them. I'll have to go to the bar. Either Shu or the Mukamis or my father will find me there."

I sigh before looking at her worried face.

Miki: "I'll be fine for tonight. Don't worry. We'll go to the bar tomorrow and see my brothers in a calmer state of mind, or they won't be able to get to us."

Yui: "What bar?"
