Chapter Seven There was blessed silence when the door closed behind her. She was tempted to lean against it, but Rhys watched her with a gaze that saw all too much. What she really wanted was to fall into the embrace of his arms, to seek solace there, even if it was just for a moment. She didn’t know why.
