The palace doctors placed Valin’s unconscious body on a hovering gurney. They moved quickly to a secure medical room while surrounded by guards. William mentally screamed his name repeatedly. He had already said his name more times than he could count before the medical team arrived. He watched on helplessly as Valin did not seem to be breathing. “His pulse is faint.
