This was going to be their second date. Fedri was sure that the queen at least liked him as a friend. He was going to accept and embrace that. When Josey entered the library his heart skipped a beat. He wanted to ask her if he could kiss her hand or lightly hold it when he acknowledged her.

He brought a cushioned chair this time. They weren’t having a picnic so he felt like it would be awkward to just sit on the floor. He also brought a small table that he found on the second floor. Shion entered the portal not too long after they took their seats. She provided an assortment of cheeses, fruit, and two bottles of wine.
“Do we need two bottles?” Fedri asked Josey.
“Well this wine is not for human consumption.” She said then winked at him.
“Oh I see.”
