Lil Jimmy was extremely exhausted. and when he came across the diner, he decided to ditch the bags in a adjascent alley dumpster. pulling down his baseball cap, he kept his eyes averted. he didn't want to be seen by anybody. he chose a booth in the back, passing on his way a TV, that as luck would have it, his face was plastered across the across the screen. the general consensus was that it had to be a murder _kidnapping. the press made lil Jimmy out as a saint, not capable of these horrendous acts of violence. When he was approached by the waitress he knew his fate was sealed. her name was adaline, and she was the family server for just about every meal he had ever eaten here along with his family. he knew that as soon as she recognized him, his life as he knew it might jus come crumbling down around him. But it was too late now. When Adaline came to the table she could immediately sense that something was wrong. the teenage boy who sat in front of her seemed overly nervous. from the moment he had sat down he couldn't seem to stop fidgeting. so far he had tried to avoid her eyes but she knew that he wouldn't be able to do it for very much longer. "what will it be to..." she stopped midsentance. holy s**t she thought to herself. was this really who it looks like to be. "yes, it has to be" she said to herself. It was the son of the dearly departed don Tony." she told herself. Of course she had already seen the news and when she realized the situation at hand she decided to take drastic measures. she immediately announced to everyone that she was going to be closing up early tonight due to a family emergency. "Oh s**t, what have I got myself into now" Lil Jimmy thought to himself. surely she had recognized him, even though she had given him no sign as to that. he decided that it was time for him to try to make his escape. he slid out of the red ,vinyl covered booth bench, and started to fill in line with the other patrons of the restraint. But before he knew it she had went to him and gently placed her hand on his shoulder. and with a slight shake of her head he got her point. she was not letting him get out of this one. he didn't want to, but he sat back down anyways. "why was she getting involved anyways?why couldn't she just mind her own buisness"? "was there some type of reward out for him? the questions kept running through his head one by one. he wondered if he was fast enough to jump up and run the f**k out of there. but when he looked he realized the she now stood directly in his line of escape, so he decided to just sit there and wait for all this to pan out. as soon as the last customer was ushered out of the restraunt, adaline immediately went to the windows and started to lower the blinds. he figure what the hell and got up to help her. when they were done they both sat back down at the same booth across from each other. SHe could tell that the boy wS starving and went to get him a plate of food. the quickest thing she could make was a hamburger so proceeded on with the task. when she was finished cooking she grabbed him a soda and herself a beer and went to sit back down with him in the booth. with hi eyes wide in appreciation, he thanked her profusely and with ean earnestness she hadn't seen in a long time, he dug into his food and gobbled it down in an impressive time. neither one of them said a word till he was finished.
