Chapter Twenty

"KILL THEM ALL!!!! KILL THEM ALLL!!!! BATH WITH THEIR BLOOD, EAT THEIR FLESH! KILLLLLLL!!!!!!" Orien shouts and slices two soldiers with one swing of his sword.

"When can we get to the bitches!" Zeus stabs a vampire repeatedly and spits on his dead body.

"Soon." Orien looks at the sight of the Royal Palace.

"Once we penetrate the second gate," Zeus smirk and transform into his wolf formed and devour every soldier that stands in his way. Orien mount on Zeus and they both killing everyone that's blocking their way to victory.

"I could smell the victory is approaching." Orien laughs hysterically. Zeus stopped in front of the gate a few meters away.

"Ask the ogres to break it down," Orien said. Zeus stays in his wolf form and roared. The ogres start to hit the gate with a big log of trees.

"Can't you jump that?" Zeus whined at Orien.

"Useless," Orien said under his breath. Zeus heard him but didn't say anything. It's just a matter of time he will kill the dead weight. For him Orien just a problem for him.

"Zeus, crush the gate." Zeus ran towards the get on all four and crushed it like its nothing. Orien followed and they all stop when they saw Thana aiming a gun at them. Orien laughs at the princess attempt.

"You're going to shot me with that tiny gun?" Orien asks. Zeus was looking at Thana's chest area and howling. Thana changes her gaze to Zeus and smiled. Zeus howling even louder. She changes back to his human form and Thana saw how erected he is. Orien sighs and grabs Zeus by the neck.

"This is not the time and place!" Thana pulls the trigger and one of the ogres head exploded and splashed on Orien's armor. Thana aimed the gun at them again.

"Cross that border, you die, retreat now, you die, knelt down to me, you die. Choose wisely." Orien lost his smirk and glares at the princess.

"Choose wisely," Thana said.

"How about neither." Thana aims at Zeus.

"You sure?" Zeus smirk.

"I'm sure honey." Thana pulls the trigger and hit Zeus's private part. Zeus yells in pain. Thana had completely injured his manhood. Orien drags him off behind him.

"I'm pretty sure you need to cut it off. Don't worry. I'll do it after I killed you." She smiles at Orien. Orien lifts his sword and aimed at Thana.

"YOU LITTLE b***h!"

"Stab me with that sword if you said I'm a b***h. Be a man and kill me. Don't use your minions and let them do the dirty work." Thana taunting her enemy. She noticed Orien's eyes twitching from anger.

"By now my mothers’ back up army is destroying yours. Horus can be very... mean in the battlefield."

Orien screams and pounce to Thana's direction and jump on her. Thana deflects his attack using her sword and pushes Orien back hard. Orien was surprised to see a woman can push him back like that.

"You shouldn't underestimate a woman. Ever!" Orien repositions himself and took a deep breath. They circle each other and scream as they attack again. This time Thana manages to slice Orien's chest opened.

"My next Attack will be your head," Thana said and smirked. Orien holds his chest and keeps his breathing steady. Rose slowly walking behind Zeus as the others holding their army's off. Rose wraps her arms around Zeus's neck and shushes him.

"If you move I'll tear off your head from this body." Zeus struggles within Rose's grasp. Rose had enough and hit Zeus's back hard, he faints. She reaches for the indestructible hell chain and ties him up.

"I'm satisfied now. Let's see if Thana can capture the king alive." Rose push Zeus's body to the ground and step on him.

"Let's end this!" Thana said and ran as fast as lighting towards Orien. Orien watch as Thana suddenly disappeared in front of him. One thing leads to another as he felt his other arms, detached from his shoulder. Thana cut off Orien's arm and aims her gun inside his mouth.

"Game over..... I will be having so much fun torturing you alive King Orien." Rose walk towards them and thinking about something.

"How am I supposed to tie him up? He's harmless," Thana shakes her head.

"Chain his legs. Put them both in the dungeons. And as for the other capture souls..... my parents will deal with them." Rose nod and chained Orien's leg. Rose leans into Orien and shows him her fangs.

"You don't mess with the Akeldama, Orien. You really should just stay hidden. You may cry now for I shall show you how much pain you gave my mate family when you decided to make my Father in law blind." Rose opens a portal and pushed him into it, where thousands of almost souls devouring him.

She did the same thing to Zeus and close the portal as he screams his way out.

"Music to my ears." Thana kneels on the ground and took a deep breath. Rose went to her side and kneel as well.

"It's over?" Thana shakes her head.

"Nope. Let's go to his castle and find out his hideout whereabout. We need to release every slave he owns."

"I can do that. I'm not that tired. I just suck an ogres blood dry." Thana chuckle.

" I haven't had any blood." A body suddenly flew in front of her when Aurelia laugh.

"Bon appetite." Thana extended her fangs and bite hard on the body's flesh. The warm blood she craving flooding her throat and it regains some of her strength back. She pulls away and spits on the body. It turned to ash in minutes.

"DOMINIKA!" Thana yells for her Friend. Instantly Dominika in front of Thana and smile.

"Let's go to Orien's hideout and free everyone. Rose follow us. Sephora and Aurelia too. The rest, please tell the queens’ it's all over." They all bow as Thana climb on to her friend's back. She pulls Aurelia up.

Rose was the first to shot off to the sky followed by Sephora with her broom and Dominika.

"What's the real reason you want to go to it?" Aurelia asked.

"When Rose and I went to see Talan's territory, I found that something was missing. I intend to get it back." Aurelia nod.

"So another adventure as we killed everyone?"

"Apparently so." Dominika flaps her wings hard.

"There." Dominika nods and searches for a place to land.

Dominika landed and flap her wings again before transform back to her human form. Sephora quickly went to her and gave her a new set of clothes. Thana looks around. Her eyes landed on frightened creatures.

"INTRUDERS!" A voiced startle everyone. Thana snaps her fingers and everyone reaches out for their weapons.

"End them," Thana said and they all kill everyone that tries to stop her. Thana walks towards a house and kick the door down. Everyone inside screams and panic.

"Don't kill us...." Some say.

"Don't hurt us! Please!!" Other says. Thana kneels to a woman who is nursing her kid.

"Is that your kid?" The woman nod.

"All of you see that door? You're free to go." Thana stand.

"Go and have your freedom," Thana added and walk outside. Minutes later the woman walk outside and she could see a little happiness in their eyes.

"Rose...." Thana look at her friend. She walks towards the mansion and kicks the door down.

"What are we looking for?"

"Something that belongs to Talan... The ring of Gyges." Rose's eyes widen.

"Alright. We should search their rooms." Rose grab a guard and force him to tell them where the rooms and office. After they know the way, Rose threw him out through the windows and he landed on the ground with broken legs. Thana looked at her.

"What?! He's useless."

"Be gentle next time..."

"The only person I will be gentle for is Moana." Thana chuckle.

"Good. She needs that." Rose lifts up every furniture and threw everything out of the way. The last furniture she threw nearly hit Thana by the head.

"Seriously Rose..." Rose chuckle and doesn't care.

"Found them," Thana said and keep the ring.

"Look what I found." Rose chuckled. Thana went to Rose and look at what she found.

"What's that?"

"This my Friend... Is something my dad lost for thousands of years...." Rose said and hold the black spear with her hands.

The spear glow when it knows Rose was touching it.

"It was made from my half-brother's bones..."

"I can't wait to torture those bastards!" Thana just smiles.

"Essence that was the stupidest thing you ever have done!" Aura yells at her little sister.

"I have to. She was crying." Moana rubs her older sister back.

"The thing is she's here, alive." Ardra walks in and hugs her girls.

"How's dad Mom?" Aura asked.

"Better. Ricca and Luce taking care of him now. I need to see You all."

"Essence... How are you?" Essence tries to get up. Moana reaches out and helps her up.

"Good. The pain subsides." Ardra smile.

"I'm proud of you Essence. Dad too." Ardra kisses her daughter's forehead. They all heard the door being open. Kora and Kharis walk in. Ardra wanted to bow but Kharis stops her.

"We're family now." Kora smile.

"How are you kid?" Essence smiled at Kora.

"I'm fine." Kora nod.

"We have good news. Thana found the ring. She's with Talan now." Kora looks at her Wife.

"The bad news is...We lost so much." Kharis said.

"We're going to have a memorial service for everyone who perished in the war."

"I almost forgot." Kora claps her hands. Essence watched as Cleon walks in.

"Cleon?" Cleon smile. He walks towards Essence as the others made way for him. Ardra could feel something familiar within him. It's weird but it's something she can feel.

"Remember the day we all go out to kill the hydra." Essence nod.

"Did you know why it haunts me?" Essence shakes her head no.

"This is why..." Cleon places a sword in front of Essence.

"I can see the future and the past. And I saw this sword in your position. It was stolen from Ardra when she was a little girl correct?" Cleon looks at Ardra. Ardra nod.

"What is this?" Ardra went to Cleon side and hold the sword.

"This was my mother's sword. Legends say my mother slaughtered a group of manticore alone and the Goddess blessed her with a power. It embedded in this sword. And only her true heir can use it. I can't. Obviously. But if Cleon sees you with it, it means you're the sole heir to it." Ardra present the sword to her daughter. Essence looked at Cleon.

"You risk your life because of me?" Cleon nod.

"It's what family's do." Essence reaches for the sword and it glows as he hands made contact.

"You're the heir." Ardra smiled.

"Beautiful." Cleon how to Essence.

"Legends also say, the air of this red sword will also be a great leader."

"I believe that," Kharis said.

"The future queen of all kings and queens," Kora said and bow to Essence. Everyone was surprised by it. The queens’ actually bows to Essence. Everyone follows and bow.

"We shall have a full out gala to properly introduced the Morag's to the royalty," Kora said.

"Agreed," Kharis said and smiled.

Thana knocks on Talan's secret chamber. She heard a faint come in. She knows her father in law is blind now.

"Who is it?" Talan asked.

"It's Thana." Talan smile.

"I have what you lost." Thana reaches for his hand and put the ring on his palm.

"The ring of Gyges?"

"Yes."

"Why do you bother to do this for me?" Thana took a seat next to him.

"A person taught me that, even if that person was mean, hateful, and even he or she never be nice to one another, that doesn't mean I should be too." Talan smile.

"I think I know who that person is."

"Yes. You do. Essence loves you Talan. Whatever you do in the past, stay in past for her. You're lucky she's possessed the heart of gold." Talan nod. He touches his eyes with his fingers.

"How do you feel?"

"Clarissa manage to stop the poison from getting into my body. But I lost my eyesight forever." Thana traces her fingers on them.

"I'll see what I can do about this."

"What do you mean?"

"Maybe it's the time for us to meet Selene, the Moon Goddess." Talan was surprised. He never thought the princess would say something outrageous.

"How is that possible?" Thana chuckle.

"You will be surprised how much my mothers’ had achieved Talan." Talan and Thana talk for a little while and they slowly but surely, become close friends. Suddenly Ardra knocks on the door and smile at the two.

"Thana... I didn't know you're here." Thana smile.

"I was about to go. Nice talking to you Talan." Talan bows his head a little. Thana excused herself and leave the two alone.

"What did you two talked about?" Talan smile at his Wife.

"We're meeting the goddess tomorrow night." Talan knows his wife's reaction was the same as he did minutes ago.

"How is that possible?"

"No idea. But she said you will be surprised by how much my mothers’ had achieved'." Talan repeat what Thana said to him.

"Do you remember about the red sword I told you years ago?" Talan nod.

"Guess what, Essence just inherited."

"The sword?"

"Yes, Talan." Ardra cups her husband's face.

"The person you called as weak, is the person who inherited the realms most powerful sword." Talan looks away.

"I'm sorry Ardra. I know I'm such a bad father to her." Ardra smile at her husband even though she knows he can't see her.

"It's never too late to apologize Talan." Talan wants to meet his daughter.

"Help me." Ardra smiled and lead Talan to their daughter's room.

ESSENCE'S POV

I'm bored. I'm not allowed to walk yet because the wound hasn't healed properly. The wound is closed, but the flesh is not completely healed. I don't mind. I save a family from being burn to death. Tamera's face when she saw her family again was an amazing experience for me.

I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in," I said. I smiled as Mom appear with... Dad. I noticed how his eyes still in bandages. "Essence...." He calls for me.

"Yes..." Mom leads him to my bed. I reach for his hand and he pulls me into a hug.

"I'm sorry Essence... I'm sorry." My tears threatening to flow out of me.

"Daddy... I never hold grudges on you. You don't have to apologize...." I could feel dads grips on me tighten. I never felt this from him.

"No Essence..... I should. I've been a bad Father to you. A jerk like kids says today." I chuckled. "It's fine dad." I kissed his cheek. "I love you, dad." Mom went to us and join our hug.

"We love you Essence..." Mom said. We all heard someone clear his or her throat. I looked up to see Thana, smiling widely.

"This is new. Well for Talan." Thana said. Dad laugh. I was so surprised I slap myself.

"Why are you slapping yourself, sweetheart?" Thana asked.

"I don't know. Maybe I'm dreaming." Thana laugh.

"Honey that's your father laughing." Mom said and chuckled.

"Well, I never heard him laughing before."

"Trust me Essence, I'll be laughing a lot after Mondo takes over the pack." We all laugh. After Mom and dad said they need to go back to their room, Thana went to my side and smiled.

"You okay?" Thana nod.

"Just... You will be transferred to my room in the palace tomorrow morning."

"I like it here." Thana chuckle.

"I know. But, my room is much more comfortable and... There are windows. The perfect scenery as well." I smiled.

"Okay. I will." Thana smile back.

"Good." Thana started to strip her armor and letting me watch how her sore muscle just inviting me to have s*x with her.

"Finally you started to think like I do!" Sence said in my mind. I shut Sence up.

"You look like you're debating with yourself again." I smile sheepishly at her.

"I am." Thana laughed. She put on a simple shirt and shorts and lay next to me.

"Love you," Thana said and took a deep breath. Soon I heard snores coming from her. I turn my body and face her calm sleeping face. I noticed bruises started to show on her arms and face. I kiss her forehead and rubs her bruises gently.

"I love you Thana, so much," I said and kiss her lips. A small smile crept on my face as she brushes it off.

I wrap my arms around her and closed my eyes.
