Chapter Seven

ESSENCE'S POV

I knock on the castle door and waited. Wondering why I'm here? Well, Baron went to pick me up and said the queens’ request for my presence. I don't know why so I am curious myself. The huge door open and I was greeted by a smiling queen Kharis.

"Oh, Essence you're here!!" She pulls me inside and I just... speechless.

"Close your mouth Essence. This will be your house in the future." She chuckles.

"Anyway, I want to show you something so follow me." I nod and followed her through the castle hallways. We walk past series of doors and we stop in front of a huge black double door.

She open the door and walked inside.

"Come in." Kharis invited me in. I nod and followed her.

"Please have a sit." I walk to the love seat and watch the queen. She turns and smiled widely at me. She walks back with a black book with her.

"This is my very private photo album." She said.

"It's an album of my baby."

I can sense something radiating from the queen. I feel... Undying love...

"When I was told that I'm pregnant with Thana, I don't think I ever feel so happy in my life..." She opens the album and shows me a picture of her and Kora, holding her stomach.

"I do have a question if I may ask." Kharis smile.

"Who is Thana's Father?" She chuckles at my question.

"Well, it's no other than Kora." I don't know what to say. I mean... It's impossible.

"That’s impossible,” I blurted out.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say it like that." Kharis chuckle. She held her hand up.

"It's ok. I will explain. Kora received a gift. A gift that grants her to have an heir." So, a curse?

"Basically she has a male genitalia." My eyes widen. I cleared my throat.

"Does... Thana..." She nod. I don't know if I can process this. Yesterday I was happy I don't have to be knocked up by Thana. But now, oh Goddess.

"It will show when you two... You know... Just pull her pants off!... Anyway... The moment I heard Thana cry for the first time... It's magical. See..." Kharis show me a baby photo of Thana.

I smiled to see this little vampire, hugging her Mother.

"Is that you, your highness?" Kharis nod.

"Wow. You never age at all?" Kharis nod.

"We stopped aging when we hit 25 in human years." Kharis trace her fingers on Thana's baby photo. I think I could see little tears begin brimming from her orbs.

"She was raised in a very... stressful environment. But Kora and I always find a time to be with our princess. My point is... I know you will be perfect for her. I want you to know that she's my only daughter. I don't want anything to happen to her. Please take care of her okay?" I nod. I can't believe a queen talks to me like this.

"Anyway. Let's go and meet Thana." She stood up and asked me to follow her.

"I think she's still asleep. That girl is not a morning person." We stop in front of a huge red door with the letter T. Kharis opens the door slowly not to wake Thana.

"See, I told you she still asleep." She whispered. I look inside the pitch black room.

"She likes to sleep in a very cold environment. That's one of her traits." I nod.

"Come on, she won't be mad at you. You're her mate after all." Kharis whisper and literally push me inside.

"Have fun." She mouthed at me and close the door.

"Bu-t.....bu-t....." I think I could see my own breath. I was walking blindly in the darkness until I hit something. I felt it stir and sigh.

"Mommy.... 5 more minutes..." It's Thana. This must be her bed then. It's so soft... my bed was never this soft.

Thank the Goddess she didn't wake up. I try to move around, feeling everything that is in front of me. Suddenly my foot hit something and I fell on top of Thana.

"Mommy!!! You don't have to hit me... I'm up I'm up.... Get off me..." She said hoarsely. I tried to get off of her but I keep on failing to do so.

Slowly I could see her golden orbs became visible. She squinted her eyes and gasped when she noticed it is me.

"ESSENCE?!"

"Yup."

"What are you doing... On top of me..."

"Not intentionally. Your room is too dark and cold." She chuckled.

"I thought werewolves could see in the dark." She's right. Why didn't I think of that? She whistled and instantly her room lit.

Now that I can see her, I noticed nothing covering her chest. I blushed and quickly moved away from her.

"Oops! Sorry, I am naked." She said and cover herself with the black sheet. I blushed harder.

"It's okay..." Did I just stutter? Thana laughs.

"When did you came here?" I turn when I saw Thana wanted to stand up.

"Well your mother sent Baron to my house and he said I was summoned." I heard the bathroom door open and closed. I release a relieved sigh. I don't think I ever this nervous before. But I wonder how she looks like without those clothes. But I did saw her breast. My Goddess, those are huge.

"Mommy did?" I heard the door open. I watched Thana walk in wearing a black silk robe. Now that she tied her hair in a messy bun, I could see how beautiful she look.

"Take a picture. It last longer." Thana said and laugh.

"Anyways since you're here, we can use my training ground. Agreed?" I nod.

"Splendid. Before that let's have breakfast." She said and grab my hand. We walk towards a series of hallways before walking down the stairs to the dining table.

"Essence?" Kora looks at me. I smiled.

"Surprise!" Kharis beamed. Thana smile at her mother.

"Thanks, Mommy."

"Anytime baby."

"What's going on?" Kora asked her wife.

"Well, I talked to Talan about Budapest. He said yes." He did?!

"Great. Tell the Ivanov's we're coming then." Kharis smile.

"Done." Kora looked impressed.

"When did you? We had... all night... I didn't even let you go off my side..."

"One word. Multitasking." Thana shakes her head and chuckle.

"Ignore them. They always have sex." I blushed. Thana laugh.

"By how deep red you blushed, you're a virgin?" I hit Thana's shoulder.

"You don't have to announce the world about it." Thana chuckle.

"Sorry. Anyway, eat up. I will give you a tour." I nod and continue to eat.

How should I tell her about my wolf?

THANA'S POV

I lead my mate towards the royal garden since Essence asks for a private place for us to talk. She looks as if she wanted to tell me something important.

"Thana, I have something to tell you."

"I'm listening." She sits on the stone bench and sighs.

"When you mention training, I feel uneasy because after what happens when I hit puberty, changes it all."

"What happen?" I asked and took a seat next to her.

"Dad banned me from shift ever again. I went on a rage and I killed several people. It was a group of bad people but I feel guilty. Even though they’re all bad person, they have kids and family to care for. After that, dad saw me as a threat." I sigh.

"So he banned you from training as well?" She nod. That lying son of a b***h.

"I can handle every power you will have to deal with," I said with confidence.

"I don't care if I die trying. I will train you to be the best, the strongest. I don't want anyone to bully you anymore. You're the crown princess. People should be scare of you." I finished and stand.

"It's time for you to meet the real you." Essence's eyes widen.

"Stand and shift." I know I'm being demanding now but it's for her own good. Essence abruptly shakes her head.

"Essence trust me. I know what I'm doing." I offer my hand. She sighs and took it. I squeezed her hand, showing her I'm here for her. She took a deep breath.

I can see her body shuddered uncontrollably. She releases a loud growl and shifts herself to a huge black wolf. I was mesmerized by her wolf form. So beautiful, amazing. I trace my fingers on her soft fur and her neck.

"Beautiful, so beautiful," I said and suddenly she pushes me to the ground, licking my face.

"Stop!! That tickles!!" She didn't stop. She just licked me. She proceeds to lick my neck, sending shivers to my spine.

"Oh, Essence..." I moan out. She pulls away and shifts back to her human form.

"Did you just moan?" She asked me with a sly smile plastered to her face.

"Well I just did and now that you're naked, let's get mating." Her eyes widen and cover herself with her hands. I laugh and got up to a sitting position. I took off my robe and gave it to her.

"You wore something underneath all this time?" I smile.

"Of course. I know I will ask you to shift." She blushed.

"Don't worry. I've seen you naked." I wink.

"NOT HELPING AT ALL!" I laugh.

"Boy, you can blush." She took the robe and wore it.

"Come on. Before anyone sees your ass, let's get you to clothe." I grab her hand and we walk hand in hand. We made it to the palace and I lead her to my room.

"I will get lost in here. For sure." I chuckle.

"I can draw you a map if you want. Anyway, I have a question." She nod.

"Can you drive?" She shakes her head.

"Ever ride a dragon before?" Again she shakes her head.

"Seriously? Never?"

"Yes.”

"Well, you are now. You will rule this realm alongside with me." I turn the doorknob and let her enter first.

"Why does your room have to be so cold!" I chuckle.

"Sorry." I went to the fireplace and lit it.

"Better?" She nod.

"You can wear anything in my closet. If you prefer dresses, it's on the left side. Pants and shirts, on the other side. If you want to take a shower, it's the black double door that's connected to the closet." She smiled and walk to the closet.

"I thought you all pants and jeans type of girl."

"Well, I am a princess. Mommy will always ask the royal seamstress to create a few dresses for Royal occasion. I only have to wear them once and then kept it hidden." I was turning TV on with the remote when Essence walks in wearing my black jeans and white blouse.

"What are you watching?"

"No idea." She took a seat next to me.

"Thana, you ever had s*x with anyone?" The question caught me off guard. I turn off the TV and scooted closer to her.

"I did."

"You love her?"

"Nope."

"Why then?"

"I'm a vampire. I have needs. Well, it was the period of the Great War. She was one of the villagers we save." She gasped.

"How did it ended up you and her...." I think for a second.

"I think because she was seducing me. A simple kiss leads to another so we had sex." I explained.

"How will I know you wouldn't cheat if we have...." She asked.

"Because you're my mate. It's different. We will be doing it because of love... Not lust." She wraps her arms around me.

"Will you promise me you won't leave me?" I wrap my arms around her shoulder.

"I promise."

She rested her head on my chest. I could feel her breath on me.

"Ready?" She lifted up her head to meet my orbs.

"I'm ready to be yours." I could see she's nervous. I smiled.

"How about we made a promise?"

"What kind of promise?" I chuckle.

"We will mark and explored each other when you're 18."

"That's in 10 months," she counted.

"Exactly. A lot of time to know each other hearts." Essence laugh.

"You really can control yourself Thana?" I smirk.

"Why not?" Essence looks at my lower abdomen and glances up at me again.

"First, your friend is poking my arm." I blushed as she refers to my bulge.

"Second, I can smell your arousal. Which is weird since I never smell anyone's scent let alone arousal."

"Wait..." I stop her rambling.

"How do you... You okay with it?"

"With what?.... This?" She grabbed my bulge. My breath hitches with the sudden pleasure.

"Well, Kharis told me about it when she talked about little you." I turn to meet her eyes.

"So you know you need to give me an heir?" She nod.

"You okay with it?" Essence laugh.

"Thana! Sooner or later I have to, I mean you're the princess. And the kingdom needs an heir."

I smile widely. I cupped her face and just looks at her lovingly.

"Thank you... Thank you for doing that...." I pull her into a hug. I can feel her hands on my back, hugging me back.

THIRD PERSON POV

Thana and Essence sit on the Morag's dining table and smile at each other. Moana and Barion were being loving and all in front of them. Thana looks at Barion in disgust. Essence grab Thana's hand. She knows how angry Thana can be when Barion is around. She stood up from her seat and went to Moana side despite Barion’s presence.

"I will show you what he did behind your back," Thana whispers something on Moana's ear and Moana felt light headed. Suddenly a flash of random images begin to play on her head.

Moana doesn't know what to believe. But the images... It's killing her slowly. The image of Barion cheating on her. With several...

"Stop," Thana whisper something to her ears and image images stops.

"I'm sorry. But I don't want to be guilty any more." Moana smile at Thana.

"I know." Moana stood up with Thana's help and calls for her father.

"Dad... be my witness." Talan just nod.

"I, Moana Morag, reject Barion Gull as my mate and alpha." With that said, Moana walks away and stops in front of Thana.

"Please show him the door." Moana let the tears fall and walk towards her family. Thana turns to Talan.

"Knock yourself out." Thana cracks her knuckles and grabbed Barion by the arm. She didn't let him stand.

"You cause a lot of pain to someone so fragile." Thana lifted Barion and slam his back to the ground. Barion groan in pain.

"YOU'RE WEAK!" Thana grabs his head and glare.

"You f**k a lot of women. I can see someone carry your child but you asked her to abort it! YOU f*****g SON OF A b***h!" Thana ball up her fist and punched Barion's face hard. Thana watch as Barion tries to crawl away from her.

"MAN UP!" Thana kicks his side. Barion coughs out the blood from his mouth while holding his side.

"I'm sorry," He said.

"TOO LATE! You've been rejected. Go to your car... Drive away now." Thana warned him.

"If I smelt you around here I'll kill you." Thana slam her hands on Barion's car hood, dented it on the process. Barion shakily turns on the ignition and drive away. Thana turned and walked back to the Morag Mansion.
