Chapter Ten

Zeus is the leader of the Red Sphinx, a group of rogues werewolves, vampires and other creatures that hated the royal family. They have so much hatred in them, even the Goddess given up on them. He was known as the most powerful alpha in the realm before Talan strips him of his title and killed all of his pack members.

Zeus is a man with a lot of history. A lot of sadness. He lost his family in the Great War, he lost so much that he wants to end his life before meeting Orien. Despite their different ideology, they only have one thing in common.

Hatred.

Orien was a nobleman and businessmen before the Great War but the queens’ see him as a threat to the peace treaty. A creature who has greed written all over his face is what makes the queens’ decided to surprise him with a visit and what they saw was devastating. He was selling humans to the vampires at a high price. The queens strip him of his title and let him live in the street as punishment.

Orien was fixing his suit and combing his blonde hair when Zeus barged in his door, looking as mad as ever.

"Guess what Talan do to strengthen his army." Orient took his walking stick and turn to face Zeus.

"Enlighten me." Zeus looks up and ran his fingers through his brown hair.

"Thana and Rose is on his side."

"Rose Hardia?" Zeus nod.

"So he's recruiting the realm strongest female?" Orien mock.

"That's a very... cowardly move, depending on a woman like that." Zeus stands up and walks towards the door.

"I'll show you what this woman had done to my men." Orien nod and follow Zeus outside. Orien's face shown disgust all over it.

He watches as the slaves moved several bodies from the truck.

"Where's his head?" Orien asked and Zeus pointed to a head.

"Well, we have our meal." Orien turns to the slaves.

"Drain their blood dry." He said and hit the slaves on his back with his walking stick.

"WORK! YOU FILTHY BASTARD!" He screams at them. The slaves could only nod and continued to work. They haven't had decent food for days and this vampire expects them to work nonstop?! Cyril, one of the human slave groan in pain as the whip make contact on his body.

"If only we just followed the queen's orders, we wouldn't be in here!" Cyril told his friends.

"QUEENS?!" Orien yells.

"YOU THINK THE QUEENS WILL HELP A LOW LIFE HUMAN LIKE YOU?!" Orien asked for the whipping tool and smirked.

"LAY DOWN!" Cyril does as told and wait for the impact. Orien begins to whip his back with so much force, he bleeds.

"Maybe I should rape your 16-year-old daughter next huh?" Orien taunting him.

"Stay away from my Daughter!" Orien grabs his neck and sent him flying up in the air.

"NO QUEENS NOR PRINCESS WILL HELP YOU LOW LIFE! GET BACK TO WORK!" Cyril body hit the ground with a loud thump and he groans in pain as he can’t feel his legs.

"And for you, I'll show you what will happen when you cross me," Orien smirks and walk towards the slave cabin.

"No....." Cyril breathes out and tries to walk towards Orien. Orien kicks the door and searches for someone in particular. The woman squirms to the corner as they afraid of what the vampire could do to them. He grabs Cyril daughter and drags her out of the cabin. Cyril watch in horror as Orien and Zeus rape his daughter in turn.

His daughter cries out for help was the only thing he heard before they both kill her.

"Best... Rape... Ever." Orien taunting Cyril. Cyril crawls to his Daughter and hugs her motionless body.

"No... Vina... Please wake up...." Cyril cry. The other slave watch this feeling hurt, angry and disgust at the same time.

"I promised I'll avenge your death..... Vina... my sweetheart... daddy will avenge your death." Cyril keeps saying to his motionless daughter. Zeus and Orien watch this while laughing at the pathetic human. They like watching people suffer. Cyril looks up with hatred and anger towards his owner. Orien laugh as he watches Cyril cry and die slowly inside.

"This is boring!" Zeus said.

They walk inside their lavish home and strategize their plan of attack. It’s time for the new ruler to take the queens’ throne.

Thana smiled as she watches Essence smiling widely feeding the pups and little vampire's that lost both of their parents in the Great War. Kora and Kharis suggested that Essence should know a little how to run the throne before they both decided to ma. Their first assignment, storing hope in little creatures such as them.

"It's amazing how they could survive such violence Attack." Essence said. Thana nod.

"Miracle indeed." Essence turns to Thana and smile widely.

"Thank you... I'm having a great time today." Thana how a little and chuckle.

"My pleasure my queen." Essence blushed.

"Just kiss her!!! I want to touch her lips." Sence interrupted.

"Shut up!" Essence said to her wolf. She sighs and Thana noticed she's having that little bantering with Sence.

"What does Sence want now?" Essence smile sheepishly.

"She wants to taste your lips." Thana raised her brows and laugh.

"Excuse me?"

"You may... Kiss me..." Thana leans in slowly and so is Essence.

"Goddess! JUST KISS ALREADY!" Sence said out of patients.

Sence push Essence body closer to Thana and they kiss passionately. Essence felt Thana's hands made it’sway to the hem of her shirt. Essence pulls away and holds Thana's hands.

"Sorry. I got excited." Thana said and smile. Essence noticed she look uneasy.

"You okay?" Thana nod and press her lower abdomen. Thana tries to cover her sudden arousal and keep a smiling face on. Essence sniffs the air and she could smell something... Odd. She noticed Thana took a couple deep breath.

"Are you... I'm sorry." Thana shakes her head.

"It's fine. I can take care of... I mean... Crap!" Thana nervously laugh.

"Does it hurt?" Thana shakes her head again.

"No... Just... Sensitive... I haven't... You know... A Long time." Essence is confused.

"Know what?" Thana looks at her in disbelief.

Then Essence realizes something and her mouth formed a perfect '0'. Essence felt guilty for what she did.

"Do you want to?" Thana whips her head towards Essence.

"What? No... We promised after your birthday." Essence scooted closer.

"It's fine. We can do it early."

"EXACTLY!! Finally!! I can't wait!! Please say yes Thana!!!" Sence whined. Thana shakes her head.

"No. You're doing it because you have to. We'll do it after your birthday okay?" Essence look at her troubled mate.

"Are you sure? Because I can see you're sweating. Vampires don't sweat right?" Thana quickly wipes her sweat off.

"You look so much paler than usual Thana."

"I'm fine." Thana abruptly stands and Essence's eyes threatened to bulge out as she witnesses a... Very... an intimidating bulge on Thana's crotch area.

"Sorry." Thana quickly covers her inappropriate sudden changes and sit down. Essence wonders how can she handle such... magnificent thing when they decided to do it.

Essence shut her wolf up and look at Thana with soft eyes. She wonders if there’s something she can do to help her.

Rose was on her way to see Moana when she saw someone lurking, watching her movement. She grabs him and then she realized she was hungry.

"Hey, why not? I skipped lunch." She sunk her teeth into the soft flesh of his skin. The warm blood flows into her mouth.

She was enjoying her lunch when she picks up several familiar scents. Rose looks up from her lunch with a smile and blood dripping from her mouth. Moana, Ricca, and Luce were standing there with their eyes widen at the sight.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did you want some?" They all shook their heads and force a smile as Moana laugh.

"More for me then," Rose said as she went back to the intruder's neck. With 2 more swallows, she was done. Ricca and Luce bid them goodbyes and left Rose and Moana alone.

"What brings you here?" Moana asked.

"I thought I would come and officially meet your parents." Moana was speechless but nod in the end.

"Let's do this." Moana led her inside.

Moana and Rose walk to the den where Talan and Ardra were standing there.

"Mom, dad, I would like you to meet Rose." Talan walks toward them.

"I have heard many things about you. Come and tell us about yourself." Rose slowly made her way over. She had always been so confident but she does want to make a good impression on the people who would be her in-laws.

"What do you want to know? I mean, lots of people tell stories about me and my family. Some are true and some are lies." At first, Talan just sat there thinking. He had admitted to his wife that he wasn’t happy when he was told that Rose is his daughter's mate. With her father are well known to be a troublemaker, its bound to get worse.

He knew if Rose was Moana's true mate, she would protect Moana and the rest of them. But what would happen if Satan calls her for a mission? What if he decided one day to take them out? Would he? Really none of that matter if Rose to be part of this family. But it would still take a lot to impress him and win Talan's trust.

Just before Talan speak Mondo walks in.

"No matter what she says, just remember that she is a hybrid. Hybrids tend to be weak. She’s probably over exaggerating things to make others afraid of her," Mondo finish his sentence and Rose stood up.

"Mondo watch yourself," Ardra warn her son.

"Why? How can we really trust her? Maybe she just put a spell on Moana like Barion did and she isn't even her mate. Until I see proof or something, let’s be careful." Rose didn't speak. She just went over to the desk at the side of the room and picked it up with one hand and threw it at Mondo's head.

He just barely ducks in time to get out of the way. Moana smile and walk over to him. Mondo was in shock.

"That took our whole strong pack to move in here and Rose just flung it at you like it was nothing. Now, do you believe her?" Mondo just nods and ran out of the room.

"I'm sorry for the display. I will move the desk back to where it was." Talan waves it off and they all sat back down. Rose then spoke.

"I understand your concerns but I am Moana's mate, look at her neck. Also, you can ask me anything and I will tell you the truth. I won't lie. Not everything that I have done is easy to listen to. So make sure you want to hear the answer before you ask me because like I said, I won't lie."

Talan was most impressed when she threw the desk. But that was because he didn't question her strength. But the speech she just made did impress him. Not even he could make the promise she just did. She left herself open to a lot of questions. But giving the warning about 'making sure we want to know the answer' made him see the wisdom in her. We were much more willing now to accept this.

"Rose I would like to hear what you really do. What are some of the things Satan has you do for him?"

"You are sure you want to hear something about that?" Talan nod.

"I think it is an important thing for us to know." Rose thought for a minute. She wanted to word this just right.

"My father has had me do many things for him. I have done some soul collecting. Some training for the demons. I also kill for him if he asks and before you ask, no, I don't ask questions. If he orders it, I follow through." Talan nod. He expected nothing less from her.

"I would like to hear about one of your kills your father asked of you." Rose thought back as she told the story.

*ONE YEAR AGO*

Rose was given an order to kill.

Her father had asked her to kill a female.

But she knew what she needed to do. Rose walk up behind her and knock her to the ground.

"I was expecting you." The female said. She jumps back onto her feet. Rose smile. Maybe she was going to make this fun. The women came at her. She swung and missed. Rose grabbed her arm and with one swift movement, she twisted her arm.

The female screams as every bone in her arm broke into pieces. The snapping and cracking of the bones, muscles, and joints excited Rose. The arm just hung beside the female. She could no longer use it. It was dead flesh now. The female fell to her knees and then onto her back.

Her fingers were already turning black for the lack of circulation. Rose knelt down beside the female. She began to put just the tips of her fangs into the female. Putting just the tip of the fangs into the flash causes a pooling of blood under the skin. When enough of this pooling is made, the blood stops flowing to the heart and brain.

The blood rushes away at such a rapid pace that it feels like the head is about to explode and the heart begins to pump faster until it stops. But just before the female dies, Rose bit into her neck and ripped the females head clean off the body. Rose came up with the females head in her teeth. The female's body lies twitching for a few more seconds. Rose took the head by the hair.

"I think her head is a good trophy and proof of the kill." Rose stood and went back to her father.

*PRESENT DAY*

Talan just sat there. He was guessing this wasn't even the worst she could do if she really wanted to.

"Well, I can see you have no problem taking care of my daughter."

"No, not at all." Moana smile.

Was she.....proud? Moana leans in and whispered.

"Let's go to my room after dinner." Rose smile and nod.

Moana drag Rose towards her room. Rose could smell her mate arousal with her keen smell.

"Not even Barion ever step foot on my room so be glad." She said and closed the door, locking it.

Rose raised her brows and smile.

"I have to let you know I didn't bring any type birth control with me," Moana smirk and reached out for a box of unopened condoms.

"I'm at that age where I'm can't control myself anymore." Moana walks forward.

Rose took a step backward and smirk.

"Lucky you... Me too." Moana walk seductively and slowly unbutton her blouse in front of Rose.

"Good. Can we mate now?" Rose laughs and grab Moana's body closer.

"Sure honey." Rose crashed her lips on Moana and moan.

"FINALLY! After 19 years of human years, you finally letting me bite someone." Nana said in Moana's head.

Moana lifted Rose's shirt and threw it somewhere on the floor.

"Wow. I never thought you would have the big chest area. Stop wearing that baggy shirt." Rose pushes Moana on her own bed and unzipping her jeans.

"Don't gasp." Moana nod and Rose let her jeans down.

Moana gulp as she sees the bulge.

"Don't worry. I'll be gentle on your first time." Rose jump on the bed and starts to tear Moana's clothes. Rose smile as Moana's body start to show sign of her symbol.

"Yup. Now I'm sure you're my mate."

"Why?"

"It looks like we have matching tattoos."

"I don't have tattoos."

"You do now." Rose lean in and kiss the tattoos on Moana's left breast.

"Don't wear bras. Those tats can be very itchy." Moana laugh and pulls Rose closer.

"You're just saying that so you can suck them," Rose smirk and pulls away. She tears her underwear and made her shaft visible.

"On the second thought, just let the condom slide away. I'm on pills anyway."
