Chapter Nine

Essence and Moana were walking to their lockers just talking as usual when they saw Barion standing there, waiting. Moana roll her eyes and if it wasn't for the things she need in her locker, she would have turned around and avoid him completely.

"What does he want now? Can’t, he takes a hint that it's over between you two?" Essence said as they walk closer.

"His dad is furious that he cheated on me so he is here to beg my forgiveness." Essence was confused.

"How do you know that?" They came up to the locker.

"I will tell you later." Moana opens her locker as if he wasn't there.

"Moana I know you are angry and you have every right to be but..." Moana stops him there.

"There is no but Barion. I have every right to be angry and now you are alone. I won't be changing my mind. Now, just leave before you embarrass yourself." Barion slammed his hand against the locker and grab Moana by the arm.

"I AM THE ALPHA! YOU DONT GIVE ME ORDERS! YOU FOLLOW MINE!" Nobody had time to react to his outburst because Rose, Thana's best friend, came out of nowhere and punch Barion, sending him flying.

Rose's wings appear and fly at Barion. She grabs him by the neck and threw him out the window and into the courtyard. Everyone stood in silence watching as Rose threw one punch after the other. The crowd was watching Barion being toss around but Moana was watching Rose. She had butterflies in her stomach as she stares.

She hasn't felt this way except for when she first laid eyes on Barion. These feelings confuse her. She didn't expect to feel this way. Rose took Barion in the air above the academy and drop him. Just when they all thought she would let him go, Rose got a hold of his manhood. She had his ‘bean’ in a death grip. It took what little breath he had in his lungs away.

"Rose stop!" Thana yells out to Rose. Rose calm a little. She kept hold of his ‘bean’ and lean in.

"Arent you lucky someone stops me but touch her again and I will kill you." Rose let him go and he dropped to the ground. Rose smirk at him.

"Mine is bigger than yours." Thana run over to Rose.

"What just happened?" Rose wasn't sure how to answer that. She had never felt this way about anyone before. All she knew was she had to protect Moana. Rose turns to Thana.

"Let's go. We have work to do."

Thana wasn't going to let this go but for now, she let Rose walk off.

"I don't think Barion will bother you again." Essence said. Moana didn't respond.

"Moana? Are you there?" Essence waves her hand in front of Moana's face.

"Oh yeah, I'm sure you are right." Essence knew that look. She had seen it before. Could this be? Could Rose really be Moana's mate? Things were about to get interesting. Thana watch as her friend walks before her.

"I think you just found your mate." Rose stop in front of Thana and turn around.

"I think so too. But she’s..... yours." Thana felt confused.

"Which one do you felt is yours?"

"The one who got grabbed," Thana laugh.

"That's her sister." Rose smile.

"So if I marry that sister, I will be your older Sister?" Rose smirk.

"Yes, but I will always be your superior." Rose scoff.

"By the way, that man you just threw, she's her mate before he cheated on her."

"I should just kill him."

"Not yet my dear Friend. Not yet." Rose beamed.

"I can't wait to torture him! Daddy will be proud." Thana chuckle.

"And what will your mother say about this?" Rose shrugged.

"I don't know. She probably will say 'Rose! Don't use my scythe to kill people' so, I think she will let me use the sword of life."

"If I'm you, I would use Sword of death." Rose waved her hand.

"Too much paperwork to do." Thana laugh.

She walks towards a door and opens it.

"Welcome to history 101." Rose expression was priceless. She really hates history. Always had, always will.

"Are you torturing me right now?"

"A little bit," Rose whined.

"I live for thousands of years. I know this history at the back of my hand. The real ones to be added."

"Well, let's make this a very magical day for you," Thana said and lead her friend to her usual seat.

"Oh look. Dominika, Aurelia, and Sephora are here. How nice," Sephora glared at her.

"Hello, horse killer." Rose smile sheepishly.

"Sephora!" Dominika tries to hide her laugh when Rose noticed Sephora is not happy at all.

"Sephora that was......" Rose calculate with her fingers.

"600 years ago."

"And I'm still mad at you! It was my first pony." Rose took a seat next to Sephora.

"Sephora baby... It's a horse! Be reasonable witch princess." Sephora pinches hard on Rose arms.

"Feisty!" The class starts and within 10 minutes, Thana could hear Rose sleeping soundly beside Sephora.

The lecturer stopped talking and glances up at Rose's direction.

"MISS HARDIA!" Rose jolts up with saliva coming out of her mouth.

"IM UP!" She said sleepily and wipe the saliva from her mouth.

"Obviously. Because I don't want to be on Satan list I will close one eye about this." Everyone gasped. Rose smirked.

"I am also the archangel daughter, don't forget that."

"Of course. The great Rose Hardia, peacekeeper of Hell and Heaven." Rose's expression turns grim.

"Are you mocking me, sir?" Thana holds Rose shoulder and sigh.

"If you start a fight, Moana will be scared of you." Rose took a deep breath and remain seated.

When it's finally the time for training the packing member, Rose was excited because she will get to see Moana. Thana was teaching the packing member how to use a knife when Moana walks in with Essence.

"Damn she's hot." Rose breathes out.

Thana noticed her friend is checking her future Sister in law. She suddenly thought of something and smirk.

"Rose Hardia, please fight me." Rose looks up with a smirk.

"Really Thana?" Thana nod. Rose stood up and walk towards Thana while fixing her black hair.

"Hand to hand combat," Thana gave Rose a sly smile while the hybrid cracks her knuckles. Rose leaned in.

"Let's see if we can woo our ladies with our fighting skills."

"Set some rules genius." Thana laugh.

"Whoever fell face down first, is the loser." Rose circling her friend.

"I like the sound of that." Essence and Moana watch closely. They both curious a how powerful these two creatures can be.

Rose made the first move to attack Thana. Thana deflects her punch with her hands and returns her punch as hard as she could on Rose's stomach. Everyone gasps as Rose didn't even move an inch from the impact.

"That tickles!" Rose joked and grab Thana by the hair and threw her up in the air. Thana smirk and landed perfectly on both legs.

"You trying to piss me off eh?" Rose nod.

"Come here, princess. I need to warm up." Thana walks slowly to her friend and sigh.

"Let's get this over with." Thana ran towards Rose and carry her. Rose saw an opening and grab Thana's neck, twisting it the other way around.

Rose was baffled to see her friend didn't react to her sudden attack. With her first attempt fail, Rose simply touch Thana's shoulder and dislocated it. Thana screams in pain as she let go of Rose's body. Rose landed on her legs and ran towards Thana with full speed. Rose was about to punch Thana's face when Thana caught her fist and squeeze it hard, breaking her hand.

Knowing Rose's weakness, Thana smirk and kicked Rose's crotch area. Rose fell to her knees and groan in pain.

"THANA, WIN," Sephora announced eagerly.

"f**k YOU THANA," Rose said and holding her crotch area. Everyone was confused by what had happened. Essence laughed.

"Oh, Moana. Promise me that you will be a very good mother okay." Essence joked. Moana blushed by what Essence said.

"Essence...." Essence turn to her Sister.

"We all know Thana is a vampire. But what if... Rose... really... is my...." Essence hugs her Sister.

"I will always be there for you sis. And I think dad will say yes..."

"Why is that?" Essence chuckled.

"Just look at how strong she is. Dad would be proud to call her daughter in law. She basically a princess herself." Moana turns to Rose. Thana was holding her, laughing while helping her friend up.

"Why do you have to hurt my girls like that." Thana laugh.

"Sorry. It's just too funny." Rose glare and push Thana's head. Thana didn't care. She just keeps on laughing at her friend.

They froze before looking at each other.

"Did you hear that?" Rose nod.

"s**t! MY DAD IS HERE!!!" Rose said and ran towards the academy courtyard.

When they arrived, the students that were using the courtyard, surround a person or something in the middle of the field. Rose made her way to the courtyard and sigh.

"What are you doing here?!" Satan turns his body and smiles her daughter.

Rose can’t believe her eyes when her father, who rarely visits her appear out of nowhere.

"Rose! Daddy misses you!" Satan went to hug his daughter.

ROSE'S POV

This is not good. Why is this bastard here? He looks around and smirks evilly.

"Well well... Isn't it Thana Akeldama." Thana smile at him.

"Well if it isn't Lucifer himself." Dad stares at her with his fiery eyes.

"I still can grant you that wings you want before...." Thana shakes her head.

"Wings too hard to wash. Besides, I don't think a vampire would look okay with feather wings." He laughs. Everyone feels cold air went through them.

"What are you doing here?!" I asked.

"Well, your mother can't make it. So she sends me." I stare at him skeptically.

"I thought you two didn't talk to each other." He walks forward.

"We only talk when it's about you." I don't know if I should feel happy or sad about that.

"Octavia send her regards my child." I scoffed. I look behind him and there's Moana. As if he can sense what I'm doing, he turns his back and his red orbs landed on Moana.

"Is that your mate, my child?" I didn't answer him. My silent treatment gave him the answer he wants.

"I should talk to my in-law then." I touch his arm.

"Don't you dare!" He smirks and drags me with him.

"Damn you and your strength dad." He laughs evilly.

"I am Satan after all." I watch as the grass he walks on rot and decay.

"Daddy please don't embarrass me." He stops and faces me.

"Isn't that what parents do?" He grabs my head and pushes me hard. I regain my balance and landed on my two legs. I watch as he walks towards her. But he stops midway and turns to me.

"I almost forgot....." He reaches for his inside pocket.

"Rose dear come here." I did and glare at him.

"Oh come on. I always push you." I scoffed.

"Here. Congratulation on being in school for a change." I took his gift and ... wonder what it is. It’s a f*****g stick!

"What is this?" I wave the thing at his face.

"Kiss it." I kiss it and I can feel the vibration on my lips. I pull away and watch as this slender thing transforms to a blood red sword.

"Whoa...." I said as I admired the magnificent sword.

"It's the Hell Sword. A sword that contains thousands of damn souls." I smile at him.

"What's the catch here?" "Well...." He starts and smirks.

"I may need a little help slaughtered someone... He's been... doing a lot of bad stuff to my kingdom..." I sighed.

"Fine... It's a good exercise."

"You're going to kill someone?!" A voice startled me. I turn to look behind him and its Moana.

"Well, It's an order." He answered. Moana look trouble.

"What’s your name, girl?" He asked her rather rudely.

"Moana. The daughter of the great Talan and Ardra Morag." He stares at me.

"A pack of werewolves?" I avoided making eye contact with him.

"Well if that's what you want... Remember Rose, Octavia will not okay with this. But I know she will still love you."

"Yes..." He smirks.

"Good....." He let his black wings out and his feet begin extracting black gooey liquid.

"Daddy loves you. But please do send me useful soul some time. I need to torture them." He turns to Moana.

"Nice meeting you Moana Morag." He flaps his wings and shot up the sky.

"AREN'T YOU SUPPOSE TO BE IN HELL!!" I yell. I could see his smirk plastered on his face before he disappeared. I kept the sword hidden and turn to meet Thana.

"I have to go and search for this guy. After I kill him I'll be back." Thana nod and turn to her mate's direction.

I could feel Moana's gaze on my back.

"Aren't you going to tell her?" I ignored Thana's question and walk towards her. I admit it, I am nervous. I never felt like this before. All the girls I'm with, I never feel nervous about them and all I can think of is s*x. But for Moana it's different.

"My name is Rose." I introduced myself.

"Moana." She smiled.

That moment, I felt a tug on my chest. That's impossible since my heart always has and always stays dead. Seeing her smiling like that makes my heart... leap. I hold my chest as if I'm in pain.

"Are you okay?" She asked. I nod. I am confused. I thought of something before glances up at her.

I lean in and kiss her lips ferociously. At first, she didn't respond but then I felt her arms around me as she returns my kiss. I could feel I'm getting hotter inside and on the outside. I pull away from the kiss with a smile on my face.

There is no doubt about it, she is my mate. I am sure of it since my symbol beginning to be visible on her neck.

"You have my symbol all along... You're born to be with me." I said to her.

"I was with Barion."

"Did anything emerged on your body while with him?" Moana thinks for a moment.

"There was a time when he try to... but a force stopped him instantly," She explained.

"What did he try to do?" I asked grimly.

"He... We were drunk but nothing happens. I ran away. Next day he apologizes." I could feel rage starting to building up in me.

"He was tricking you," I turn to Sephora.

"Help me for this once." Sephora walks up to me.

"Find out if there was any trace of potion or spells." My request was bogus but Sephora did it anyway. Her eyes turn white and didn't speak for a while.

"Love spell," Sephora sigh.

"It's black magic. My mother can cure it but she's not here," hmmm, maybe...

"Queen Kharis can do it. She's good in potions as well right?"

"She is," Thana said behind me.

"Bring her to the castle. I'll be back as soon as I can." Thana nod. I smile at Moana and ran towards the forest.

I need to take care of my job then I can kill Barion for what he did.

ESSENCE'S POV

"Stop....." I try to regain my breath.

"I can't take it anymore..." I said breathlessly. Thana stop and smile at me.

"Essence it's only first round." I let go of the sword and slump to the floor.

"I can't take it anymore. That sword is heavy. I can't feel my arms." I heard Thana chuckle.

"Yes... Laugh at my misery."

"Well, at least you are training with me and not my mothers’," Thana said and took a seat next to mine.

"Why are we training like this...." Thana's reaction changed.

"Well, your father was threatened."

"What?!" Thana chuckle at my reaction.

"That’s exactly why I don't want to tell you."

"No, tell me. When did this happen? Why didn't tell us." She shrugged.

"Probably because your brothers can't be..... trusted. Don't get me wrong, they both are strong. But stupid. Once they meet those Red Sphinx war veteran, they will die. Your sister, Aura has better fighting skill than your brother's combine." That's the most accurate description of my brothers.

"You're absolutely right." Thana chuckle.

"How can you be so calm about this?"

"I've been in wars far too many times. I risk my life for others happiness and I don't think a little group of rogues can shake me down anymore." Suddenly I'm curious about something.

"Tell me about the hardest battle you have to go through." Thana laugh.

"Easy. With Rose." I'm confused.

"Rose? Aren't you two Best Friend?" She nod.

"We are. Now. Before, not really."

"What happened?"

"She was the most powerful creature in the realm. She can kill anyone with just her mind. Rose before is not like Rose now. She's far too... Evil." I turn to face her.

"Is she that great of a fighter?" She nod.

"She gave me this." She started to lift up her shirt and show me her perfectly toned stomach.

"I don't see anything."

"Wait for it." I stare at her stomach and suddenly a scar... huge scar begins to emerge from her cold white skin.

"This happens when your skin made contact with an archangel scythe." I gasped as the scar started to appear.

"How can you hide that?"

"Mommy taught me a spell to cover it all."

"All?" Now, I want to see more.

"My battle scar."

"Why would you want to hide it?" She turns to look at me.

"Why would I want to show it?"

"Well, it shows how many battles you have won..... or lose." Thana laugh.

"As a princess, you have to cover everything. As a warrior, you have to live through it." She answered.

I started to feel strange all of the sudden. I close my eyes and let the feeling slide.

"You okay?" I nod. I slowly open my eyes and smile. Thana laugh.

"Sence... I know you're trying to come out." I tilted my head.

"What?" Thana points at her eyes.

"Your eyes..."

"Mate...." A voice echoes in my head.

"What?" I asked. Thana look confuse.

"I didn't say anything."

"I heard someone say, mate." Again Thana laugh.

"I think that's Sence calling out for me." This is weird. My wolf never speaks before.

"What?" I sigh.

"Nothing. It's just she never talk to me before." Thana smile and wrap her arms around me. I took a long, deep breath and enjoy this position.

"I never thought I would find my other half." I’m beginning to think that Sence probably in heat.

"Me too, Thana." I blushed when I feel Thana's lips on my forehead.

"Arrrrrrrrrr..... Let's mate already... I want to carry her child!!!" Sence purred.

"Horny much," I said mentally. Thana pulls away.

"I promise I will protect you with all my heart and will," Thana said and seal it with a kiss on my lips. This is the happiest day of my life... EVER!
