Chapter Fifthteen

"What if it's just a dog?" Seraphine asked her sister.

"Then either Thana or aunt Kora will kill it." Kora smile.

"Sure dear. I need the exercise." Kora sighed when she saw Cleon on a horse.

"Cleon, It's better we go on foot."

"What if it chasing us?"

"So?" Thana asked. Cleon looks uneasy.

"My dear nephew, you ran away from the underworld under Cerberus own noses. Little mystery won't kill you. We're undead." Kora pats Cleon’s shoulder. Thana chuckle. She straps multiple knives on her sheath and side. Better be safe than sorry. She turns to meet Essence.

"I'll be back. I promise." Essence nod. She wanted to go with her but Kharis said no.

"Okay." Essence wipes her tears quickly. Thana smile and hug her.

"I love you." Essence hugs back.

"I love you too. Be safe." Thana pull away and kiss her lips.

"Okay... Enough you two." Kora drag her daughter away before something unexpected happen. Kharis smile at her Wife.

"Be safe, dear." Kora smile.

"You know I will, my queen." Kora bow to her Wife. Kharis hug her.

"Take care of my baby and my niece and nephew or I'll decapitate you if she's hurt," Kharis warn her wife. Kora gulped and smile sheepishly.

"I will, don't worry. I'm the golden warrior for goddess sake." Kharis pull away and kiss her wife's luscious lips. Illythia went to her kids and touch their cheeks with love.

"Be safe my child... follow whatever your aunt Kora said. As crazy as she looks, she's the strongest warrior in the realm." Velorina and Cleon nod.

"We will." They both said in unison. A man appear suddenly and handed the queen two type of sword. Ilythia turns to her son.

"The emerald-studded sword." Cleon bows and accepted the sword.

"No creature can be treated after being harm by it." Cleon bow. Illythia turn to her daughter.

"Dyrnwyn, Sword of Rhydderch Hael. If you're worthy enough, it will lead you to its purpose." Velorina bows and nod.

"Mother loves you both." The siblings smile and nod at each other. Kora looks at everyone.

"Ready?" They all nodded. Kora turn and walk towards the darkest and mysterious forest of Hungary. After a couple of hours, Kora let the others rest for a bit before continuing their journey. Cleon has been uneasy since they begin to journey. Kora had been on edge since they inside the vast forest. Velorina, using her expertise in tracking foreign smell. She's been sniffing a lot and some just too... Disgusting even for her.

"Mom...." Thana calls out. Kora notice something as well. Suddenly, they all heard some type of singing. They all stops walking accept Cleon. Kora grab her nephew by the neck and cover his ears.

"Sirens," Kora whispers. Thana reachs for her sword and was about to pull it out when Velorina stops her.

"We're not here to hurt others." Thana nod.

"Let them pass." Thana watch as the beautiful creature walk passed them, singing, luring a man to their grasp. Kora signaled everyone to walked again. Kora noticed Cleon is not moving. Kora smirk and slap Cleon's face as hard as she could. Cleon finally wakes up.

"Stop sleeping and start walking," Kora said and Cleon nod.

"Where did the so call army saw the creature last?" Kora asked Velorina.

"A mile before a village..... That village...." Velorina sniffs the air.

"That way." She points to the south. Kora looks at Thana.

"Do your magic." Thana nod and knelt. She put her hands on the earth soil and feel every vibration on the ground.

"What is she doing?" Cleon asked.

"Detecting vibration and activity. That's actually pretty smart." Velorina was impressed by her cousin. Thana stand.

"I felt something foreign. I can feel the vibration is abnormal. Not far from here." Kora nod.

"Get ready for anything." They all nod and followed Thana. Thana shows her fist as asign and everyone stops. Kora gasp as she saw the creature that supposes to be Cerberus that's an attacking the kingdom.

"What is that? A Kraken?" Velorina smacks her brothers head even though he's older.

"That's a hydra."

"What is Typhon and Echidna's offspring doing here?!" Thana breathes out. She watch as the nine-headed serpent swallow a couple of creatures that cowered a by the corner or the rock.

"What should we do? If we decapitate it, it will only grow more." Velorina said.

"Fire," Kora said. They all looked at the queen.

"We need to burn them."

"How?" They all asked the queen. Kora smirks.

"With Velorina's sword..... The Dyrnwyn........" They all look as confuse as ever.

"ROSE!!!" Rose stops whatever she's doing when she heard Moana raging voice.

"Damn." She breathes out. She slowly turn and smile at her mate.

"What's this?!" Moana asked and show Rose a bloody knife.

"It's a knife. With blood smear all over them?" Rose answered.

"Who's blood it is?"

"Mondo," Rose said without even trying to lie. Moana's eyes widen.

"Why?!"

"He wants to train. So we did. He's a terrible fighter." Rose chuckled. "Can you at least cute him?" Rose cross her hands. "Why should I?" "He's my Brother." Rose rolled her eyes.

"Fine." Rose followed Moana to Mondo's chamber. When Rose set foot on his chamber, Mondo cowered to the corner with his bloody wound.

"Mondo...." Ricca calls out.

"This is the future alpha?" Rose chuckle and walk towards Mondo who look hysterical.

"May I?" Ricca nod. Rose grab Mondo by the neck and slams his body as if he's a piece of paper.

"Honey! Be gentle!" Moana warn her mate. Rose roll her eyes and pulled out her knife.

"What are you doing?" Ricca asked.

"My blood can cure him. He needs to drink it." Mondo struggled in Rose's grip.

"STAY STILL!" Rose yells.

"DONT BE A b***h! JUST DRINK THE f*****g BLOOD!" Rose cuts her wrist and shoves it to Mondo's mouth. Slowly, the deep wound begins to heal. Rose looked at the wound and pulled her wrist away.

"See. It's not that bad. Geez!" Rose lick her wounded wrist and it heals. Rose noticed Cyran at the door. Rose think of a way to train the brothers.

"You guys need to train by the goddess herself. Only she can go to your inner self and train you two from the inside out." Rose said out loud. Cyran walks in.

"How do we do that?"

"You need to pray hard the Goddess will have mercy on you. We can train together but with my level, you both will end up like Mondo. That's just my knife, it's not Thana's. If it's Thana's, you will be dead by now." Rose walk towards the window.

"Follow me to the Palace shrine tomorrow night. You're lucky that tomorrow will be a full moon. We will try to contact the goddess." Cyran and Mondo nod.

"I'm going hunting. We need to sacrifice something." Rose open the door that connected to the balcony. She smells the air and let her wings out. She flaps her wings a couple of times before shot off to the morning sky. Moana watch her from afar and sighed. She turn to her brothers.

"You better train hard for this. I swear I will kill both of you! Even if you're my alpha and beta!" Moana looked at her brothers with disappointment.

"You always call Essence weak before. Now, who's the weakest in the pack? YOU! The so call strong Morag's! Now I know what to call both of you... JERKS! You both jerks!" Moana storms of the room. Mondo and Cyran look at each other, feeling guilty all of the sudden.

"You've done so much Mondo," Ricca said.

"I told you to not be unfair to your sister. Dad is not happy. Mom is disappointed in all of us."

"I know Ricca, I know." Mondo got up.

"I owe everyone an apology." Ricca went to her husband.

"Honey, it's never too late to apologize to your sisters." Mondo nod and look up to Cyran.

"We need to apologize to Essence." Cyran nod.

"Sooner or later, she will rule us. She will be the queen." Cyran added.

"Follow me." Ardra suddenly appear and asked her kids to followed her. They all nod.

"Find Luce as well... Aura and Abe are waiting for us." Ricca help Mondo up while Cyran went to get Luce.

"What is this all about Mom?" Ardra didn't say anything. She just walk and ignoring everyone questions. They went to a ballroom and Ardra close the door. Inside, Talan is waiting patiently. Talan had a long talk with his wife. The kids need to know what's really happening. It can't be hidden anymore. They need to know the truth. The truth that a war is coming.

Talan look at each of his offspring's face.

"Mondo... Cyran... Aura... And Moana. Of course and mates." Suddenly a loud bang was heard and rose appear by the door with dead deer in her hands.

"Sorry. I was hungry on my way back." Rose walk towards Moana's side. Talan cleared his throat.

"As I was saying. I know some of you is curious why I asked so many pack members joining us in training." He looks at Abe and Aura.

"A war is coming and we need to be ready fast." Aura and Abe look at each other. Rose was bored

"What will we do to kids and woman?" Mondo asked. Rose raised her hand. Talan look at her.

"Thana gave out instruction that a huge underground bunker is built within time." Talan was impressed.

"Weapons? Traps?" Abe asked. Again Rose raised her hand. Talan looks at her again.

"The Royal blacksmith is in process of forging swords, bows and every weapon known to mankind." Talan was beyond impressed.

"Thana will do anything to keep her mate safe and her family too." Rose finished.

"Dad... How can we help?" Aura asked.

"Lend me your army." Abe nod.

"Who are we fighting?" Abe asked. Talan sigh.

"Zeus and Orien." Abe and Aura's eyes widen. They never thought of hearing that name again.

"Essence... Come here." Kharis call out for her future daughter in law. Essence smile and take a seat next to the queen.

"Look at this photo." Kharis smile and handed Essence a bunch of photos. She smile and look through it. She was smiling widely, looking at a very cute golden hair vampire baby. Then it hits her like a brick wall.

"Is this Thana?" Kharis nod.

"When she was little." Essence wants to pinch little Thana chubby cheeks so bad.

"I wonder where that chubby cheeks go." Essence said. Kharis chuckle.

"I think you know where it goes." Kharis gesture her chest area. Essence instantly blushed.

"No need to blushed my dear." Kharis smile.

"Who's this?" Essence pointed to a picture of two teenage looking vampires. Kharis took a sip of her blood champagne and lick her lips.

"That's me and Illythia." Essence look back and forth between the pictures and Kharis right now.

"You're hair...." Kharis chuckle.

"It happens when I'm mated with Kora. My eyes and hair color changes that night."

"Why is that?" Essence curious to know.

"I'm not sure. But it changes." Essence looked at Kharis.

"Can I call you Mom?" Kharis was surprised by Essence question.

"Of course you can honey. You and your family is family to me." Kharis said and smile lovingly.

"How about Mommy? You can call Kora Mom." Kharis added. Essence smile and nod.

"Mommy...." Essence breathes out.

"Yes, dear?" Kharis turn to Essence.

"Thank you for accepting me in your family." Kharis stroke Essence cheek and smiled widely.

"Your welcome. Anyway. Since you will be marrying Thana. Let's teach you when you meet your subjects." Essence tilts her head, confuse.

"I'm going to teach you how to waved, how to drink properly and how to be a crown princess." Essence looked uneasy. Kharis notice.

"You alright?" Essence nod.

"It's just... I never dream to be taught something like that." Kharis laugh.

"You better believe it dear. Being a princess is hard work." Kharis said and offer her hand to Essence.

A man was drags to a room with torture equipment. Zeus and Orien smirk widely as they watch the man being drags without his will.

"We told you we will get you," Zeus said. The man struggles to look forward. He try to recognize the voice that he felt he heard once before.

"Zeus?" Zeus smile evilly and walked towards him.

"In the flash." "Let's start this s**t," Orien said and wrap his fist around with a chain.

"Now I want to know how to control this country most powerful pack and clan..." The man scoffed.

"You sick bastard want to control this realm?" The man laugh.

"I would like to see you try. Most of all to see you both die in the queen's hands." Orien punches the man's gut with all his might.

"You may be the lord of this country, but soon... We will be the ruler. And you all will be banished." Orien said and continue to beat the man to death.

"Stop. We need information." Zeus said and Orien stops. He unwrapped the chains and place her hands in the man's head.

"Since you're not talking. I'll just have to find the answer myself." The man scream in pain as Orien went through every corner, every bit of memory he has. Orien let go and the man slump to the floor, breathing heavily. Zeus walk forward.

"We have to kill King Alfred to be powerful." Zeus smile.

"So we only have to betray the person who kept us alive?" Zeus laughs evilly.

"What should we do to him?"

"Torture would be nice. Orien said and grabbed the man towards a chair. He begins to strap the leather around his wrists and legs. Zeus keeps his head steady and begging to secure the metal plate around his head with a lock. Zeus nod at his man to connect it to a source of electricity. Orien smirk as he now can see the man's face.

"Lord Opal... I know you're so... Loyal to the queens. But come on! You let them steps on your head like that!" Orien traces his claws at Lord Opal's neck.

"Stop being a p***y and join me killing them." Lord opal glares and spit on his face.

"I rather am killed than to betrayed my queens!" Orien's face turns red and rips off Lord Opal's shirt with his claws. Lord opal scream in agony as the claws made contact with his skin.

"How many gold and diamonds that they pay you to be in their side?!" Orien asked and begin to beat Lord's Opal's face with his hands. Zeus suddenly thinks of something he wanted to do and walk towards a table filled with torture devices. He grabs a thread and a huge needle.

"Orien..... Because he's so... Loyal to the bitches, and refuse to talk....." Zeus held up the things he just grabbed. Orien nod and gesture his Friend to continued. Zeus stands in from of him with his needle, on the other hand, scissors on the other.

"Let's see...." Zeus begins to puncture Lord Opal's mouth and sees it completely close. Zeus smile at his handy work.

"Now you can't talk. Isn't that what you want..." Zeus laugh hysterically.

"Stripped him," Orien commanded. Zeus made way to their men and smirked. Zeus licks his lips when he saw Lord Opal's gorgeous body.

"I can't wait to get my hands on that," Zeus said as the man starting to strip his pants.

"You will have your fun." Orien walk towards a chair and bring it in front of the Lord.

"Let's see how great your body restraint a major amount of pain." Orien nod and one of the men pours a bucket of scorpions on the Lord's body. Lord opal struggling in the strap chair, trying to freeing himself. With every bite from the scorpion, his body turns numb and helpless.

"Zeus. Your turn." Zeus smirks and kneel in front of Lorn Opal. His hands on his crotch, feeling some type of arousal in torturing the man they all once worshipped.

"Too bad you're going to die today." Zeus grabs Lord Opal's p***s and rips it off from his body. Lord Opal's eyes remain stoic as he cants feel anything. Zeus dangling his private part up and laugh.

"Well say goodbye to off springs." Orien laugh with his Friend.

"Let's put this here," Zeus said and placed his private parts on a table. He reach for a shotel sword and placed in at the back of Lord Opal's neck.

"Hold this will you." He said to Orien. Zeus went to a cabinet and pulled out poleaxes.

"What are you doing with that?" Zeus smirk.

"You'll see. This vampire needs some decapitating to do." Orien laugh and clapped his hands.

"Never knew you could be this amazing." Zeus begins to cut off Lord Opal's hands and foot.

"Let's send each souvenir to our queens and enemy." The men begin to collect the hands and legs. Lord Opal's breathing becomes slow. Zeus nodded at a person who stands by the switch and turns it on. Orien move back and watch as Lord Opal's burning flesh invading their nostril.

"Stop," Zeus commanded and smile at the burned Lord Opal.

"Orien will you the honor of ending his......" Orien didn't wait for Zeus to finish. He stab to Lord Opal's chest and grab his heart, ripping it out. After ripping it apart, he decapitates Lord Opal's head with the short sword.

Lord Opal's head detached from its body and rolls over to the floor like a ball. Zeus picks up the head and open its mouth and putting in the p***s in.

"This will be a good gift for the queens." They both laugh.

"Let the zombie eat the body. We have a trip to go to..." Orien told his men.

"Let's get to King Alfred and end everything. Once this over, we can control his army and attack the queens." Orien said. Zeus smirke.
