Then they came along

I walked onto the school grounds, everything seemed completely fine, and my day became immediately better when I saw my best friend standing beside the big double doors waiting for me. I ran upto Luna and hugged her so tightly, “I’m fine thanks for asking” she sarcastically spoke, we laughed before entering the modernised building, looking around I saw people wearing more revealing clothes as it was the last day of the semester before summer break, I couldn’t fault them it was about 40 degrees celsius in the stuffy classrooms. It wasn’t long before the bells went off telling us that it is our first lesson, Maths, it wasn’t bad as Mr Fenton was one of the chilled teachers, he just let us relax as he couldn’t be bothered to teach. Me and Luna started writing in my jotter, just silly things to start off with but as we got deeper it started to unravel some difficult topics for Luna until she got up and stormed out of the classroom.  A few minutes went by before we heard a commotion outside and saw many students gathering around and looking up, we were quite an nosy bunch so we decided to have a look but I could have fainted at what I saw. I looked up to see what they were all looking at but as soon I saw Luna at the edge of the roof my heart sank like the titanic, “LUNA DON’T DO IT!” I screamed sobbing, she shook her head and had this plain expression on her face, I rang her phone and she surprisingly picked up: “Don't do this, please Luna” “Why not, everyone has died around me, I am forced into this life I never f*****g wanted.” “We can help y~” And just like that she ended the call. “You can’t help me, none of you can, it’s gotten out of hand, goodbye” She shouted before jumping off and landing right in front of me, “NO!” I screamed, “Miss Dean please get away from her body” the headmaster spoke, “f**k off!”, “MY OFFICE NOW” I stood up, “YOU KNOW WHAT f**k THE LOT OF YOU! SHE COULD’VE LIVED ANOTHER f*****g DAY BUT YOU ALL PUSHED HER.” after that I ran out of school and ran in a random direction leading me somewhere I didn’t know about. That’s when reality set in, my best friend just committed suicide infront of everyone.
