CHAPTER 14 “Do you know what happened to this?” We rarely bother each other when we’re working. Jeff usually stays out of my office, and I only go into his music room to check that he’s looking after himself – more so recently. That’s why I’m surprised to see him in the doorway of my office on Friday morning. He’s wearing that white shirt and fiddling with the cuffs. I’m not sure if he wants them straight or rolled up. He walks over to me and points at the upper half of his shirt. It’s undone at the top. The first button is there, but the second button is missing.
