EVAN’S POV
“Good morning sir, should I read out your schedule for the day?" My personal assistant asked me the moment I got to work.
“No, I need to settle in first. You can come back in thirty minutes time.”
I was eventually left alone to my thoughts. I've been feeling like there's something I needed to remember but I just couldn't do so.
The only thing that keeps appearing in my head is that body that I know only belonged to Thea. Did I see her last night or had anything to do with her?
Suddenly, flashes of when I was kissing her appeared in my head, her lips tasted divinely as always, even better, maybe the time apart made me think that.
I had carressed her smooth skin just like I do each time we kissed, my body on hers felt so perfectly moulded together like we were a match made in heaven.
The s*x last night was really good, I can't even get the details out of my head.
The only thing that remain a mystery is how Thea got to my place, my driver drove me home himself and I can clearly remember that I got home safely.
My head throbbed slightly from how much I've stressed my brain just this morning alone.
My personal assistant entered the office back, she brought her notepad along with her and I know her persistence in listing out my schedule can only be because today's going to be a busy one.
“Go ahead." I said to her, looking at her as though she was a television. My mind was partly in what she was saying and the necklace on her neck, it looked really familiar.
“Sir, did you hear what I just said?" Her voice brought me back to reality.
"Yes, you can schedule the meeting for two pm, it's fine by me. If that's all, I'd like to be left alone till the time the first neeting would hold.”
She nodded, leaving the office while scribbling down on the notepad. She eventually left the room, but not before I remembered the person i saw the necklace on was.
It was on Amora, she has the same type of necklace and wears it everyday, even for the wedding.
That reminds me, she wasn't downstairs while I prepared to leave for work this morning.
In the hopes of acting like normal couples do, she should have ate breakfast with me and make it a mandatory every morning, even make it herself at times but I didn't see her this morning even though I woke up really late.
I shrugged it off, that's none of my business; she's none of my business.

After a stressful day of signing contracts and attending boring meetings that looked like they weren't going to end, I started driving home.
The drive home was quiet, as I was the only one, I sent my driver home earlier and didn't bother to call him.
I needed to be alone, I'm still trying so hard to figure out the reason Thea showed up and suddenly dissapeared again this morning.
On getting home, I heard rushed footsteps going upstairs.
“Welcome home sir." Crystal greeted me the moment i got into the living area. She has an ashen look on her face, like she was shocked of my appearance.
“Thank you, is everything okay with you?" I asked her.
She looked lost at first before a knowing look came up on her face.
“Yes, everything is perfectly fine. Everyone's okay and fine.” She rushed out the words nervously like there was something she wasn't telling me.
"If that's it then. I'll be going upstairs.” I walked past her, walking up the stairs before I suddenly felt the need to ask her anything.
“Where's Amora by the way?" I asked her, my eyebrows pulled in a frown.
I heard Crystal physically gasp before she composed herself again.
“Uh, she's upstairs." She replied, pointing at the stairs.
“Nice." That was all I needed to know.
It's not like I care that much about her whereabouts but she's married to me now, everyone's attention would be on us and it would be suspicious to see a married woman in a club or any other inappropriate place at night.
I skidded upstairs, rushing up to my room. When I got to a certain door which I think is Amora’s door, I paused.
The only reason I even know it's her door is because I could see that the light in the room was on.
Seeing the door of that room brought a feeling of deja Vu that I'm very certain is not because the door is similar to every other one in the house.
I stopped for a while, just staring at the door, trying so hard to rack my brain on why I'm getting flashbacks of something important happening in here.
That headache started again and I had to leave it, I might even be stressing over nothing.
On getting to my room, I freshened up and got into bed to look through the messages I have on my personal phone.
I found myself scrolling through my chats with Thea again, memories of the last time we spent together started playing in my head.
“Just come back to me, please." I muttered, looking through the last pictures she sent to me personally on i********:.
It was pictures of us together, she was sitting on my laps and took some goofy pictures of us.
‘Hi.’ I messaged her again, hoping it would get delivered this time.
It was still the same, sent but not delivered. She blocked me already on all social media platforms, she also changed her number.
I fell asleep with my phone on my chest, her picture on the screen before I slid into darkness.
~
‘Stop it Evans!’ Thea yelled at me.
I liked getting on her nerves and I'm currently doing that.
I raised her phone even higher, making her get even more angry.
‘If you don't bring down that phone now, I'm not going to talk to you for a week.’ She threatened me, stepping down from the chair she was climbing on.
I brought down my hand immediately, she have hope of fulfiling that threat, she's that crazy.
Red tainted her cheeks in anger and she stepped away from me with her phone in her hand.
‘C'mere’ I drew her back to me, kissing her on the lips passionately and she returned the kiss. Gosh, I love her!
