CHAPTER: 01 Nina, it’s time to go to school, make sure you do not play today. My mother said wearing me my uniform I was just 8 years old , still in primary school, ? Lol, sounds funny, I was dreaming too many bad dreams , most times I dream where I died Born into the family of four including my parents, I have one elder brother who always looking out for me, he is handsome and soo playful too, My parents are devoted catholic Christians, so whenever I dream about death, they take me to the priest and he prays for me, burning incense , sprinkling water and praying to God to have mercy . I was scared of Closing my eyes… Nina you have to do this, stop doing that, please come here, are you dreaming again ? You’re watching too much movies that’s why you always dream where you die..These were the words of my parents At some point I stopped dreaming, and I liked it.. my grandma was always telling me not to stop telling my parents my dream,, somethings they also do not take it serious You’re not Joseph Nina. , you’re just thinking of it and when you think of something it happens.. My friends will always say. One day I had a dream where I died again..I told my father, he took me to church and the priest prayed for me. God answers prayers,, it was what I was meant to believe.. Nina stop thinking about your death, henceforth no more movies for you til this nonsense stop.. my father said As a child and soo stubborn too, I always walk home from school with my friends , I love seeing cars move and stop, i also love it when there’s traffic,I love buying ice cream ? from the road side too. My driver doesn’t always meet me in school, come on I love to walk home wíth my friends.. On the other hand there’s this little boy of 11years , his name is Dave… soo full of life and energetic too, but he is soo calm, very quiet and loves to observe, he doesn’t talk much His parents takes him to school and bring him back home.. I have no idea why they couldn’t get a personal driver for him. Months later I had another dream, I told my mother about it. She fasted and prayed. She told me to be careful It’s just a dream mum, i am still young, I am not dying yet.. Nina, don’t leave school till you see me or your driver.. Ok mum, I’ve heard you. I innocently went to school, school was over, I waited for 5 minutes for my driver and my family but none came I decided to walk home again with my friends ,I stopped to get snacks on our way.. there was traffic . We couldn’t even pass, everywhere was blocked I never knew Dave was staring from his mothers car parked by the road side.. he was watching me and my friends play.. Minutes later, the green light popped up ? and cars started moving slowly We were still waiting for the road to the fully free before crossing when I heard Nina, just say I can’t push you. My friend precious said. Precious, you can’t push me, do you realize we are trying to cross this road?? I asked I know, just dare me again and I’ll push you You can’t push me.. I said I did not know what happened, a moving vehicle was coming, precious pushed me, I was confused, she started laughing Dave opened his mothers car ran out His mother was calling him Baby, baby! Stop, stop running! Stop it. She said chasing him Go back mum, I am coming. Dave responded and continued running I turned and realized a car was coming with speed.. I couldn’t run.. I stood there confused, Within seconds Dave ran towards me and pushed me to the other side.. I hit my head on a pole and fainted..Dave was the one hit by the car.
