Chapter Eleven When Lillian returned to Cyprus, she didn’t feel quite herself and, for once, she thought that was no bad thing. Whereas in the past, leaving the UK would have triggered a haze of bereavement lasting two or three days as she struggled to adjust to the distance between herself and her children, this time it was different.
