Damara Aphelion, a girl from the human era was suddenly teleported into a world from a board game after she curiously opened the odd-looking box she found in her parents’ ancestral house. The game was entitled ‘Pahimakas’, and little did she know, it was a survival game both for her and the players that enters the game. And in that place, she discovered the existence of creatures only known in folklore and legends. Vampires, lycans, elves, faes.

A game-like setup wherein she has one mission and function, and that is to kill mortal humans that dared to join the adventure game she was also trapped in. As years pass, Damara eventually couldn’t stand living in a foreign world she had never felt home, she wanted and decided to get out of the game and return to the human world. So, she searched and traveled around to find an answer and solution to her problem. That’s where she found out that she needs to kill twenty players and have the last (twentieth) person she kills partially alive for her to be able to pass the destiny of being trapped inside a mythical world and be the next assassin of the game.

But what if the last person she has to kill was someone she would rather protect?

And this guy… was he just an ordinary human?

Synopsis:
In their eyes, I am the vilest person that ever existed. Survival. In this world, it is the only thing that matters to me. “Mercy! Please spare me! I-I don’t—it was an accident I could’ve—arrghh!” With every life that disappears before my eyes, I decided to feel nothing but relief. Whenever a last breath was taken by my hands, my mind was at ease… and thankful that it was not me lying cold and lifeless on the ground. “Seventeenth. More to go, Aphelion.” That arrogant voice... That same, perpetual voice that appears every time I dispose a point or should I say; every time I kill someone she shows up. “Oh, a naughty old p*****t this time, aye?” she commented as soon as she kneeled on the rocky ground where the man with a stout body lies with his own blood drowning him. “Denise,” I called her name as I remained standing, looking at the scene in front of me with a solemn stare. “How long will you push me into this?” Her brows raised as her eyes met mine. “A mission is a mission, Aphelion. The rules are the rules. In this game, it’s a choice if you live or die.” She then stood up and pulled the dagger out of the cadaver’s throat. In a flash of a second, she appeared in front of me and slammed the bloody weapon on my chest. “It’s not my fault you dared enter this game. And besides, don’t you think you’re helping the human world in this way?” She chuckled and touched my face, smearing it on my cheek. “Decreasing population, perhaps?” Viscous liquid covered my hand as soon as the dagger’s blade touched my skin. The moon’s light was bright enough to see that it was blood. I chuckled as I stared at it. Right, a game. This was all a game, a survival game. Whether be dead or alive, everything was just a game but life is the cost.
