Chapter 11 - Dating advice

Alexander POV

The road to her house were far too short, I didn’t want to let go of her, but I knew I had to. I had already crossed the line just by talking to her and having her this close. It was not supposed to have happened yet, but what could I have done? Just let her get run over by a car in the middle of the road? I couldn’t let that happen. I put her down right on the mat that stated ‘Welcome’ in front of their door, let her down easily and she gasped holding on to my shirt trying to find her balance, she blushed once more and damn I loved it when she blushed, she looked so innocent and shy and had no idea of the world I was about to break her into.

As soon as she had collected herself, she let go of my shirt took a step back and leaned against the front door clearing her throat and looking up at me with those beautiful blue-green eyes. She tussled a stray of hair behind her ear, which had left her long wavy ponytail on the run, and I took in a deep breath of her salty caramel scent because I didn’t know when I would get the chance again. A deep growl formed in the back of my throat as I felt her scent all over me from carrying her and I really needed to use the last bit of self-restraint if I wasn’t supposed to pin her little 1.60 cm body up against the front door and take her right here on the spot. I could see how my growl made her step a little bit bag and pressing her back against the door and I quickly collected myself and smiled at her, not wanting to scare her any further than I already had done.

“I hope you enjoyed the ride Nathalie, please don’t get yourself run over by a car, or killed for that matter, before I see you again.” I smirked at her and turned to leave before I did something stupid.

“How do you know my name?” she asked as my bag was towards her and it made me stop my walk. I had said to much already and I could feel her gaze on my back waiting for an answer. When she didn’t get one she continued; “Can you at least tell me when and if I will see you again?”

“I can promise you that you will, soon” I just stated and then continued to walk away turning into a run before she could manage to keep on burying me in questions.

The whole run back to the pack house I kept thinking about our little encounter. How she at first had been frightened by me and slapped me in self-defense like she thought I was going to do nasty things to her. I could never and I never wanted to see her like that again, but at least I now knew she was a fighter with a hell of a good punch to her right hand. And then the way she got all hot and bothered when I was close to her the way her body reacted to even the slightest touch or breath from me. And at last, I couldn’t get out of my head how perfectly shy and personal she was when it came to anything s****l, how she had blushed fully by the thought of me watching her in her sleep having a steamy dream. She was just perfect, and I knew I had to move this process further, I couldn’t just watch her from afar any longer, I needed to be part of her life and I needed to seduce her and make her fall in love with me the human way, cause she clearly had no idea of the werewolf way. Luckily, I knew the perfect guy to help me with that, and then I could let my dad in on the plan later. I mindlinked Lucas instantly;

Hey mate, I really hope you are not busy cause I hate pulling rank on you - alpha to beta - but I really need your help right this moment.

I could feel his smirk all the way through the mindlink and I almost didn’t want to give him the satisfaction of realizing that I needed him for dating advice. I knew I would never hear the end of this and if it hadn’t been for my mate and for the fact that he was so used to dating humans, I would have never made this deal with the devil himself.

First of all, I need you to not be so fed up with yourself when it comes to what I’m about to ask you. Can you promise me that?

I sighed.

I could hear him laugh through the mindlink and I rolled my eyes at him waiting for the reply.

Oh, I see. You came to the right guy. Let the master here teach you some tricks. But nope never went that far to tell anyone. You know I only do flings and casual relationships so I’m only in for the seduce, make them fall in love, leave them as friends, kind of stuff you know?

I sighed feeling like almost giving up on him…

I was on my way to Lucas to catch him up on today and what had happened between me and Nathalie. At least I knew he would take it better than my parents. Dad was not happy at all by how I had handled the little incident with Nathalie. Mom was at least understanding and if she had not been there, I’m sure dad would have still been pissed at me for just putting myself on to Nathalie the way I did. In the end he finally understood that if I hadn’t, she could have been really hurt. I shook it off knowing that we at least came to an agreement that I could start interacting with her if I promised to be careful and go slow, I needed to keep the safety of the pack and our secret as the top priority. As I arrived in front of Lucas room I didn’t bother knocking, I just walked straight in, he was lounging on the couch watching some tv with Zed. I rolled my eyes at the look of them because I knew as soon as they looked at me and rolled their heads bag laughing that Lucas had already delivered the news to Zed.

“Oh, shut up you guys, I’m going to kick your asses in morning training next time” I said frowning at them. Zed raised from the couch and walked towards me smiling he clapped my back as he passed me.

“Good luck with the dating advice boss” he smirked as he left and closed the door behind him before I could kick his ass. I gave Lucas a frowning gaze as he threw his hands up in surrender.

“Should we get started before I kick your ass?!” I snapped at him.

“Yes boss, I’m all yours” he answered.
