Chapter 11 (Eye for an Eye)

Sarah 

Today this morning I snuck out and went for a run around the woods. My wolf was so thankful.

Plus it gave me a chance to know the land around me. I remember my father saying a warrior must know it’s territory in human form and in wolf form if it wants to survive. I think I was six when he made me run blindfolded. Just a year after I shift. Normally a wolf will shift at age ten but I shifted at age five.

“Father I don’t understand why I must run blindfolded, If I’m not blind and why can’t I shift?”

“Because Sarah a Warrior must know it’s territory and not only rely on its wolf but on its own strength. Your wolf is strong Sarah but I want you to be strong to defend yourself as well. I won’t always be around to protect you so I need you to be strong. Now run Sarah”

“But what if I hit a tree or a rock?”

“Remember what I’ve told you count your steps use your ears to guide you. I want you to memorize every tree and every rock. Now run child!”

“Some day you’ll thank me” he said to me

Right now I’m on my way to see Derik I need some girl time. It took some convincing for Alec to let me go but he’s no match for my puppy eyes. Will said he was at the pack house training section, I guess Derik is becoming a warrior here.

I spot him and damn my best friend is hot. Sorry ladies and gentlemen he’s taken. 

“Sarah!” He runs up and hugs me

“Derik I’ve missed you” it’s only been 3 days but it feels like a lifetime since I’ve seen him

“Let me guess you here to cheer me on huh” he says with a smirk 

“Oh yes I’m your personal cheerleader” we both start to laugh

“Well I’m gonna need all the luck I can. They don’t take to kindly to outsiders here and Seb is the worst of them all.”

“What do you mean?” Have they been mistreating my best friend

“Well I didn’t want to tell Will because I don’t want to stress him out but Seb and some of the guys don’t think I have what it takes to become a warrior here.”

“Their dead! I’m going to strangle him with my bare hands!” I’m fuming even my wolf wants out

“Calm down killer!”.... He laughs ....“I’ve got this.” Derik is trying to calm me down but no one messes with my best friend. 

“Derik! Trainings isn’t over or is this you quitting!?!” Seb barks out making sure to grab everyone’s attention towards us. Now I want blood his blood. I start walking towards him but Derik stops me.

“Sarah trust me” I take a couple deep breaths and look at my best friend pleading eyes. I nod 

They start hand-to-hand combat which mean no weapons. I stay close by and watch as my friend takes down men after men. Derik has been training to become a pack warrior since he first shifted at age 11. His father was warrior so he wanted to become one too. I see Seb face and he’s not happy which makes me happy. I see Seb whispers something to someone’s ear. The guy is huge covered in tattoos and scared all over his body. He goes up to challenge Derik. I have a bad feeling about this. 

The fight starts Derik takes a couple blows but he’s still standing. The fight goes on for almost an hour and no one has tap out. Derik throws a right hook but the guy easily doggies it and slams Derik on the floor nocking the wind out of him. He has Derik in a straight arm lock with his free hand Derik taps out but the guy doesn’t release him instead looks at Seb. 

Seb nods and before I know it he dislocates Derik shoulder 

Derik screams out in pain...

I run to him “Derik!”

“He’ll be fine... Hector, David take him to the infirmary room.” Seb says like it’s no big deal. 

Sure Derik will heal fast. The Doc will probably pop his socket back in place and he’ll be good as new in a couple of hours but he did this to him to prove a point. That he doesn’t belong here now I’m gonna prove a point. Eye for an eye.

They take Derik away but I don’t move...

I rush up to Seb and punch him in the face he stubbles back but recovers right away. His bottom lip is busted open but he just wipes off the blood with his thumb. 

“Queen Luna I guess you didn’t like the fact that your friend doesn’t belong here.” He spats out 

“I don’t know he took down 4 of your best men then after he was tired you still pushed him to fight that oversized Neanderthal!” He gives me a death stare but I don’t care

“Your the pack best warrior and even General. Am I right?” My voice is threatening and menacing

“Yes! I’m the best” he says with a smug look

“Well I change you...”

He laughs “I’m sorry my Queen I didn’t know you were funny”

I punch him again in the face. “I wasn’t asking. So either you defend yourself or I’ll beat you till you can’t breathe” I growl out my wolf has come out to play and she’s pist. Seb eyes turn black he’s a lycan. Only lycans eyes turn black regular wolves eyes stay the same as human form. “Fine!” He says

His right leg twitches a little letting me know he’s about to kick out. Just as I anticipated his move I dodge it. I elbow him right in the jaw making him disoriented. I grab his face with my hands and has I bring his face down I lift my right knee up making contact. I hear a crunch like noise and I think I broke his nose. He is now bleeding from his mouth and nose. Seb tries to punch me with his left hand but I block it. I uppercut him right in the jaw as he tries to regain his balance I kick him with my right leg hitting his ribs. He groans in pain. But I’m not done!

I throw my wait on him from behind making him fall. My knees dig into his back pining him down to the floor. I lift his left hand out towards me.

I hear a loud roar and look up to see Alec and Will.

“Sarah!” Alec roars again but I don’t stop until I see his shoulder pop out of place just like Derik's. “Don’t mess with my friend ever again or next time it’s your heart I’ll rip out” I get off him and walk towards the infirmary room. Along the way I ignore the stares. Some look scared others look shock. I can feel Alec following me but I don’t stop.

Derik has a sling holding his arm up. He already looks better

“How bad did you injure him?” Derik ask

He knows me so well. 

“Not to bad. He’ll live” I say with a smile on my face. My wolf is overprotective of love ones, she’ll do whatever it takes to protect them.

After what I did to her last night Sarah couldn’t stop blushing this morning. Just even thinking about her is making my c*ck hard. I want to be inside her tight little p*ssy. F*ck now I have a hard on in front of Will. Well it’s a good thing I’m sitting down or else this would be embarrassing. I wish she was here with me but she begged me to see Derik. I have a hard time saying no to her when she looks at me with those big doe eyes. 

Right now Will and I are discussing the annual Ball where all Alpha’s get together and meet. It’s literally just a political game everyone tires to kiss my a** and women try to throw themselves at me but this year I’m announcing Sarah as my mate and their Queen. The Ball is happening in 3 weeks all Alphas around the world are coming here. The castle has 9 floors and 100 rooms but the 9th floor is completely off limits it’s only for my Queen and I. Security will be tight invitation only will be allowed to enter pack lands. 

All of a sudden Will starts whimpering in pain

“Will, what’s wrong?” His face looks like a mixture of pain and rage

“It’s not me it’s Derik, something’s wrong?” 

Will dashes out of the room like if the hell of hounds are after him. Then I remember Sarah is with Derik. My mate! If she’s hurt I’ll kill anyone who dare touches what’s mine!! I roar out my lycan wants blood at the thought of it’s mate being injured. 

With my lycan speed I catch up to Will and what I see is Sarah on top of Seb. He looks like a bloody mess.

I roar out her name but she ignores me.

Did she do this to Seb? No it can’t be my mate is so tiny and Seb a lycan not as powerful as me but still a lycan is more powerful than a wolf.

Then my little mate dislocates Seb left shoulder. My eyes go wide

“Don’t mess with my friend ever again or next time it’s your heart I’ll rip out” she say through gritted teeth. I don’t know if I’m furious or turned on right now....

She walks off like if nothing happen. Will and I follow her towards the infirmary.

Once we go inside I see my mate standing next to Derik who’s laying down on the hospital bed.

“How bad did you injure him?” He asks her

He knows something. I’m starting to think my little mate isn’t a regular wolf she’s more than that. Is she a lycan like me?

“Not to bad. He’ll live” she responds

Will rushes over to Derik and kisses him

“What happen?” He ask

“Nothing babe, just some Alpha male bullshit”

“Seb did this to you?!” Will growls out 

“No” says Derik trying to calm Will down

“Then why was Sarah on top of Seb?” Will and I ask

Sarah and Derik don’t make eye contact with us

“Sarah I won’t ask you again why were you on top of Seb and why did you do that to his shoulder?”

“Daddy I’m sorry” oh no she’s trying distract me but it won’t work on me

“Answer the question!?!” I say in my Alpha voice 

“Seb was being an a** and order this hulk looking guy to hurt Derik an... and... well my wolf took over. She’s super over protective of people I love. I didn’t mean to hurt him it just sort of happen” she genuinely looks remorseful

I sigh while grabbing her and pulling her towards me. I rap my arms around her and inhale her intoxicating scent of strawberry's and sunflowers.

“Sarah what are you?” Her whole body goes tense
