Chapter 14 ( Heat 1)

Sarah 

“What do you mean she’s gonna be staying here?” asked Derik

“That’s what Alec told me apparently she was attacked yesterday by rogues”

“Well she’s gonna get attack here if she try’s anything with you. Girl or not I’ll kick her ass”

“Derik!! I can defend myself”

“Yes but I’m your best friend it’s my job to defend you.”

I sigh.. I don’t know how I feel about Ruth. My wolf wants to strangle her for touching our mate but another part of me the human part feels awful. I stole Alec away from her and even tho it wasn’t my fault we’re mates I still feel bad for her. She’s 25 without a mate and fell in love with Alec. He promised her marriage and a future together and in one day she lost it all.

“Derik will talk later I have to go pick up Elizabeth from school?” 

“Not without me.” A dominant voice says I turn and see Dave.

I frown “what?”

“From now on I’m your personal bodyguard. You do not go anywhere without me unless King Alec tells me otherwise.”

“I do not need a bodyguard!” I shout out in irritation

“Sorry my Queen but these are orders from the king. I can not disobey my Alpha”

I growl out “Fine but if you piss me of I’ll hurt you”

As I walk to the school I feel a rush of pain hit me right in the gut. I hunch over clutching my stomach. Dave rushes to me “My Queen are you all right?”

I take a couple deep breaths and compose myself “I’m fine, it’s nothing” 

I’ve never felt pain like this but it’s gone now.

We continue walking and pick up Elizabeth

Throughout the day I continue to feel the pain come and go but I just keep brushing it off as nothing.

During dinner I feel even worst it’s almost like my insides are burning. I sit on Alec lap and kiss him hard like a starving man and he’s a delicious buffet. Suddenly someone clears their throat “Ahem”

Alec and I turn to see Will, Derik, Dave and Elizabeth walk in. I blush hard and burry my face on the crook of his neck. I’m so embarrassed 

Alec just chuckles

They all sit down

“So how was my little wolf today Dave I hope she wasn’t to much trouble”

“She was wonderful my King. She will make a great Luna very compassionate and caring.” Alec places a kiss on my temple and smiles down at me

Lisa and Seb finally come in and sit next to Derik. I’m happy Ruth didn’t come for dinner, since I’m not feeling good I do not need the drama but my happiness was short lived because Ruth comes in with the server’s. She smiles at Alec and says “I’ve made my famous lasagna just a small thank you to Alec for letting me stay here. I remember how much you use to enjoy it.”

Alec doesn’t say anything and I see the hurt on Ruth face but she quickly hides her expression with a smile. She sits next to Elizabeth and says “Dig in everyone”

No one moves and there’s an awkward silence in the room until Seb clears his throat “ Sis it looks delicious” he cuts a slice and place’s it on Lisa plate and then a piece on his. Then everyone starts to grab a slice of lasagna, bread, and salad. Alec is feeding me like always.

“Sarah do you know how to cook” Ruth ask me

“I can’t say I can. I’m not a very good cook” she smirks at me

“Sarah, Alec has hardy appetite how do expect to keep him satisfied. A Luna must be able to cook for her mate and pack” what a b*tch but before I can respond Derik speaks up

“She is more than qualified to be a Luna!”

“My sister didn’t mean no disrespect she’s simply stating the facts. A Luna must be able to cook for her mate and defend her people” seb says

“She had no problem taking you down clearly she can defend her people. Sarah has been training...”

“Derik!!” I say his name to grab his attention. I give him a look that says “shut up”. He was about to say too much and maybe give a hint of what I am. Everyone is now staring between me and Derik

“Umm thank you Ruth I’ll work on my cooking skills” I say trying to distract everyone 

“If you want I can teach you and give you some pointers on Alec. You know things he likes and dislikes” I know what she’s implying that she knows him better than I do since she’s been with him for two years f*cking him. My wolf is on the verge of killing her but two can play dirty.

“Ruth I love everything about my mate and I don’t care if she can’t cook.” Alec says

Then I get a gut ranching pain worst then before. 

“My Queen are you all right?Are you still not feeling well?” Dave ask 

“What do you mean still not feeling well?!?” Alec roars out making everyone bow their heads in submission.

“Daddy I’m fine! It’s noth....” but before I can finish I start to feel hot. 

“Is it hot in here or is it just me?” I say while taking off my sweater. 

“Where in Alaska. So it’s never hot here even with the heater on” Will says 

“I’m burning.. I.. I feel like my whole body is on fire” I say while panting

Alec sniffs the hair and growls making my panties wet with desire. His eyes turn pitch black and I start to rube my thighs together trying to creat friction to sooth my aching p*ssy.

“Baby your in heat!” Alec carries me bridal style to our room and places me on the bed

“Daddy I..I need you. please” I don’t even know what I’m begging for but all I know is that I need him

“Oh little wolf I’ve been waiting for you since I was 17. I’m not gonna hold back and my wolf won’t either”

“Alpha I think we found her?” He hands me a picture of the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen.

“Where is she? Why didn’t you bring her to me?”

“Alpha she’s in the Illumines Pack territory with King Alec”

“What is she doing with that Mutt!!” Are they forcing her to be there.

“Alpha I don’t know.”

“Prepare a private jet I want to go see her!” My Beta bows and leaves 

I stare down at the picture “ I’m coming for you beautiful.
