Chapter 13 (Ruth)

Sarah
After watching the movie Up I put Elizabeth down for a nap and make my way towards my mate.
I knock
“Come in Sarah!”
I push the doors open and run to Alec and jump on his lap. I snuggle against him and he chuckles “ Did someone miss her daddy” I nod not ready to speak I’m mesmerized by his scent.
He chuckles again “I’ve missed you too little wolf”
We stay like this for sometime nuzzling each other. He starts to play with the tips of my hair and I look up at him. Somethings bothering him.
“Daddy is everything okay”
He sighs “ I don’t know.”
“Do you wanna talk about it?” I ask starring up at him
He kisses my lips and I kiss him back. When he pulls away I let out a small whimper of protest.
He chuckles and I blush “ Someday I will tell you everything but not today”
I nod in understanding. I too have secrets and he’s never push me or forced me to tell him
But still I don’t like seeing him sad so I grab his face and start to place a bunch of kisses all over his it. Not only does he smile but he laughs.
When I finally stop he has a mischievous grin on his face.
He starts tickling me mercilessly “d..daddy...s.stop!” “Daddy stop I can’t take it”
I’m laughing so hard trying to catch my breath but he won’t stop.
Suddenly he stops tickling me and I look up to see he’s angry but not at me. His face looks distance he must be having a conversation thru the mind link. He holds me tight and I’m wonder who’s he’s talking to and what has him looking so worried.
Four guards enter
“Take her to her room if anything happens to her not only will I kill you but I will kill your entire family and make you watch while I torture them.” I shiver at his dominant tone
“ D... daddy...w...what’s going on?” I stutter
“Go with them love and I will see you later. “ He places a gentle kiss on my forehead and lifts me up. When I don’t move he growls out “Now! Don’t disobey me or I will punish you!”
The guards take me to my room but before I enter they secure the room and tell me to stay away from the windows. I wait for Alec but he never comes.
Alec
A rogue attack and this time they were able to get thru our boarders. As soon as my little wolf leaves I shift and run to the boarders. I see my men holding two rogues down. All my men bow in respect
“King Alpha we captured the two rogues but someone got injured” Will says to me
“Who?” I bark out
“I don’t know she was taken to the infirmary room she was a civilian”
I grab one of the rogues and snap his head
“Take the other one to the dungeon.” I growl out
Will nods. “Where is Seb!” He should be here
I mind link him.
“Where are you”-Alec
“King Alpha I’m at the infirmary room. Ruth was injured”-Seb
“How?”-Alec
“She was running in the woods and two rogues attacked her. I’m sorry but she’s my sister. I’ll be there as soon as possible”-Seb
“No. It’s fine be with her”-Alec
All this reminds me of when I lost Aria. I wasn’t able to save her and what those rogues did to her they mutilated her.
..................flashback......
“Alpha they found an abandon car near our boarders it looks like it was a rogue attack”
My men and I go check it out
I see the car and it’s flip upside down it’s my sisters car. I run and looks around but see no one inside. It’s smells of blood and sweat
“Will it’s Aria’s car! She’s not supposed to arrive till tomorrow morning not tonight!” She left on vacation with her mate and child
“We will find them” Will says to me but I know it’s a lie. There too much blood
“Alpha we found a body” the guards say
“Who?” I say
“It’s Zach sir Aria mate. He’s been beaten to death and stab with a silver blade”
“Find my sister and my niece!!!” Maybe they got away Zack is a strong warrior. He probably fought them off while they ran
We searched the entire night but nothing. As soon as we were about to give up I get the scent of blood and semen.
I look around the bushes and there is my sister naked and covered in blood. I pick her up and rush her to the infirmary. They did this to her! They took everything from me! My body shakes with rage
“I tell the rest to keep looking for Elizabeth”
We don’t find her till two days later hiding near the river. She was scared but other than that she was fine
The doctors told me that Aria was r***d. There were at least 4 different type of sperm found on her. She won’t be able to have children again after what they did to her. She fell into a coma and never woke up. I told everyone she died...

After I secure the borders I go check on Ruth
As soon as I enter she jumps on me
“Oh Alec I was so scared. Please don’t leave me”
“I...I... Ruth get off!” My lycan only wants our mate to touch us. I gently pull her off of me and sit her back down on the bed “Ruth what were you doing so close to the boarders?”
“Alec.. I ... I was going for run my wolf needed out. I must've gotten lost because I didn’t know what was happening till two rogues attacked me.” She starts sobbing
She has a black eye and a busted lip
Seb pats her back “Seb I can’t be alone right now. I miss you so much.” She looks at me “ I know I’m not your fiancé anymore but I don’t feel safe going home is there anyway I can stay here at the pack house for a few days.”
I want to say no but she is injured and her only brother lives here. I sigh “Fine but if you make Sarah uncomfortable I will kick you out”
She hugs me again “Alec I promise I won’t get in her way. She’s your mate and I’m sorry for disrespecting her last time. I will make it up to her in fact I believe will become good friends”
Once again I pull her off me
“Thank you Alec.” Seb say to me and I nod
I leave needing to be near my mate. My lycan needs to make sure she’s okay.
I see her sleeping so peacefully. I strip down to my boxers and get in bed with her I hug her close to me
“I will always protect you and never let any harm come to you because I love you little wolf”
