Chapter 29: Party Phoenix!

Before we get started, there is a change that I would like to inform you. I have received couple of suggestions to write the novel in Third-Person point of view, and so from now on the novel will be written in Third-Person except for some parts where I think First-Person is the best such as flash back. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think most people prefer third-person point of view, and I myself have also written my previous novel in third-person. This is actually my first time writing a novel in first-person, I thought it would fair better this way however as you can see in some parts of the novel it obviously had backfired and I had to change the PV for some parts of the novel. Anyway, I would like to thank you all again for your supports and suggestions for the novel. I hope you would continue to support the novel by adding the book to your library. Now, please enjoy: ################# "Y-You killed all of those orcs by yourself?" Layla asked, even though the evidence was right in front of her eyes, she still found it hard to believe. "Yes." Caine replied without delay. The girl next to Layla suddenly spoked, "How can a h-human child have such streng-" Before she managed to finish her sentence, Layla gently smacked her head and whispered, "Do you really think he is a human child? He must be an adult dwarf." 'Hey, I can hear you!' Caine exclaimed in his heart, but he wasn't going to correct them again, since for a human child to possess such a strength would certainly raise suspicion. "By the way, now that the orcs are temporarily dealt with, are there any injuries on your side and the village?" Caine tried to change the topic. "Right! One of our teammates had been injured, do you have any medical supplies? We will make sure to pay you back in the future, please." Layla pleaded. "Yes, please take me to the patient first." Layla became ecstatic, she quickly guided Caine into the building, and just like how Caine predicted, all of the villagers were in here. The patient was one of the two girls behind Layla. When they got into the building, they undressed her bandage that was wrapped around the girl's arm, exploding a grievous sword wound. "P-Please help my sister." The boy who seems to be part of Layla's team pleaded with sobbing eyes. "Of course, here. Have her drink this potion." Caine took out a small glass bottle full of transparent content, and handed it over to Layla. "T-This..." Layla asked why looking at the potion with a confused expression. "Don't worry, it's a healing potion without side effects, although it may look a bit different to the one you had seen before." Caine didn't know what a healing potion looked like so all he did was create a glass bottle full of apple juice with the effect healing added to it. Layla looked at his teammates before finally handed it over to the injured girl, "Um… Alright." The girl gently took the lid of the glass bottle and drank the whole content in one go. Her eyes immediately widened in shock. """W-What is it?!""" All three of them shouted simultaneously, they all became worried by the girl's reaction. Just when Layla was about to draw her sword out towards Caine, the girl finally spoke, "I-It's tasty..." """Ehhh?!?!""" The three of their voices once again became synced. "I-It tasted like… apple." The girl thought that the potion would taste bitter, that's why she drank it all up at one go, but now she kind of regretted it. "C-Clara! Your wound!" The boy shouted while pointing at her arm in shock. "I-It's gone!" Clara moved her arm around just to double check but it really was gone! There was no scar nor did it hurt anymore. "D-Don't tell me that potion was a G-Grand Grade healing potion!" Layla exclaimed. "What? G-Grand Grade, how can we ever afford to repay that?!" The other three shouted. Grand Grade Healing Potions are the highest possible grade an alchemist could create without the Holy Water blessed by a saint. Don't say a Grand Grade potion, they wouldn't even be able to afford a Ordinary Grade potion with their current funds. "N-No, you guys don't have to repay me anything. The potion was going to expire soon and if it's not used then I would have had to dispose of it soon." Caine hastily tried to come up with an excuse. Maybe he had overdone it a little bit, at first Caine was unsure of whether a lower grade effect would be able to get rid of scars or not, so just to be on the safe size, he chose the Grand Grade instead. 'To prevent the same situation in the future, I should do a bit more experiments and research regarding potions.' Caine took note of it down in his head. In the past he wasn't really interested much in potions since his incredible strength and health points would render any potions ineffective. "A-Alright, but if there is ever a time that you need our help, then please don't hesitate to contact us. Most of the time we will be staying at the Adventurer Guild in the Royal Capital." Layla's words caused the other three to nod. "A-Alright." Seeing their determined faces, Caine inwardly sighed and reluctantly agreed to them. … The four of them later introduce themselves as an adventurer party called Phoenix. Layla is the leader of the party, she's 14 this year. Red hair and green eyes, her speciality is Swordsmanship. Sophia, 11 years old, blonde hair, orange-coloured hair, and pointy ears. She's an elf and her speciality is Archer. Clara, 8 years old, blue sapphire hair and eyes, her speciality magic. She's a Primitive Grade Magician. Lewis, 6 years old, black-coloured hair, and blue sapphire eyes. His speciality magic but so far he could only use Lifestyle magics such as creating water for drinking and showering or fire to light the campfire. He is also the little brother of Clara. The four of them came to this village about a month ago to deal with the orcs, but after finding out that the numbers were way out of their league, the party decided to stay behind and help out the village until further help arrives. However, despite posting the request for help to the Royal Capital's adventurer guild and sending requests to the high-up officials, no help came to their aid, but when they were at the brink of defeat, Caine arrived. Caine looked around, at this point all of the villagers had already left the building and started checking out the destroyed buildings and some started digging around the farm in an attempt to salvage anything they could still deem edible. The majority of villagers are elderlies and children, according to Layla's story, most of the adults were killed during the previous monster waves. So most of the children have now either become an orphan or left with their grandparents. Seeing how disadvantageous the situation that the villagers are in, Caine immediately supplied them with food and other supplies. This of course, was thanks to the help of his Creation Magic, however, this time he received a system message. {Warning: Excessive creation of goods could disrupt the world's economical balance.} 'It should be fine since all of these will be used by the villagers and them only. I also have no plan of supplying them forever, I must quickly find a way for them to sustain themselves when I'm gone.' Caine started to ponder how he might be able to make the villagers self-sustain, and it must be completed within two days before he would have to return to the Imperial Academy.
