"I think we should just give her some time," My mom says, almost in tears. "We've given her enough time, Catherine," My dad says. So you may be confused, right? Maybe we should start with introductions... I'm a teenage troublemaker. I enjoy reading, starting s**t on fire, and writing. My favorite bands are mostly emo bands like Panic at the Disco, My Chemical Romance, and most of all, Blink 182, which I'm not sure classifies as an emo band, but oh well. I have dark brown hair, green eyes, and a natural complexion, I guess. I don't have many friends. My mom just got over two addictions with the help of therapy and meetings like a month ago. One of them is smoking, the other one is alcohol. When my dad began his job as a pilot, my mom drank a lot, which I don't blame her, she had me to take care of. And right now, my parents are talking about sending me to an all-girls school. Or my dad is mostly talking about sending me there while my mom is trying to convince him not to. I'm sitting up in my room reading my book, trying to hear where their conversation ends. It's either going to end with me leaving my hometown, or me staying and living with more rules, which I'll obviously break. You may be wondering what sent me to act like a troublesome teenager. Well, that story is for a different time. "We're sending her, I don't want you stressing anymore, Cat," My dad says, almost angry.
