Asher’s POV I hated seeing Isabella standing beside him. Her gaze met mine, and all I saw was nothing but pure hatred and disgust. The sight of it only fueled my rage. “Alpha Zachary, you are being questioned over here,” one of the council members snapped, pulling my attention back to them. I hadn’t even heard what they’d been saying before. “What is all this about?” I asked, irritation clear in my voice. “I have never made contact with any human. I don’t even know any humans.
